By a Falun Dafa practitioner from China

(Clearwisdom.net) Teacher stated,

"The Year of Yiyou has begun. During this year, Fa-rectification's enormous force will bring changes to mankind" ("New Year's Greetings").

Upon hearing this, some practitioners developed an attachment to time. Some even started imagining all sorts of things with human attachments and couldn't calm down. The time during Fa-rectification moves very quickly. Now that the year 2005 is over, some people feel disappointed as they thought nothing special happened during 2005. Some even started questioning and doubting Dafa and Teacher in different ways. I think this is a very serious and dangerous matter that cannot be ignored.

In 2005, with the constant truth-clarification efforts of Dafa practitioners, and the wide spread of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, righteous forces have been gathered. More than 900 seminars, rallies and big parades supporting the "quit the CCP movement" have been held all around the world. Several former CCP officials defected and exposed the evil nature of the CCP. Many more Chinese people have quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations and have chosen a bright future.

The evil party launched a so-called "maintaining the advancement of the CCP" campaign around the country. Hasn't this campaign, which forced people to tell lies and do wrong things, ended in people's condemnation? Didn't the evil massacre people again in Guangdong Province, persisting in its mad persecution of Falun Dafa? Hasn't this evil cult with such an unscrupulous, anti-humanity and anti-universe nature been revealed again in this massacre? The number of people who resigned from the CCP and its affiliated organizations has increased and reached up to 8.68 million.All of the above are just what we can see, but the changes taking place in other dimensions are most essential. Those changes are more vigorous and magnificent.

There are also people who always believe that we are involved in politics. With everyday people, we need to clarify this issue, but as for Falun Dafa practitioners, the most important thing is to constantly study the Fa, upgrade xinxing and enlighten to this on one's own. I realized that the realm of politics is too limited. Politics is an everyday person's affair and not what practitioners should pursue. Our goal is beyond the understanding of the human world. Talking about practitioners getting involved with politics is like saying someone likes being in a dark pool of mud. The difference is so huge that it can't be described with human words. Human beings, things in a dark pool of mud and politics, are all materials within the Three Realms and they are at the same level. The things that cultivators seek are not in this human world. They are beyond the human world and the Three Realms. If a practitioner keeps on thinking that we are getting political, does he still believe in Teacher? Isn't it an insult to Falun Dafa and our opportunity to cultivate, something for which we have waited many years?

Teacher said in "Mature",

"My overall impression is that most Dafa disciples have matured; the way in which they are cultivating has matured; the understanding cultivators have of cultivation has matured; and the rational behavior that comes from a progressive decrease in human thoughts has, likewise, matured. When all Dafa disciples are like this, the evil will be completely eliminated and Gods and Buddhas will grandly manifest."

I believe that the most important issue for us now is to examine how well we have cultivated. Have we stayed firm in our faith in Teacher and Dafa? Is every single thought of ours within the Fa? Are we diligent enough? Have we done the three things well with righteous thoughts and righteous actions? Every one of us should be able to feel no regret when the wonderful and magnificent moment of Fa-rectification in the human world arrives. Are we one of the "most Dafa disciples" talked about by Teacher in the recent article "Mature"? If the Fa were to rectify the human world right now, how many people would be eliminated and lose their futures forever? Many people who have predestined relationships would be eliminated as well. And how many Dafa practitioners who haven't done well would lose their chances? In this special historical period, one person's elimination represents the destruction of a universe, even a colossal firmament. Therefore, Dafa disciples' responsibilities are huge! As disciples of venerable Teacher in the Fa-rectification period, we should do all things well while walking our paths.

We all know that Teacher does not want to leave any person behind. Even the most evil person will be given an opportunity if there is the least hope for this person to be saved. However, as Dafa disciples, we should not lower our xinxing to the everyday person level. We can't think like this: "It doesn't matter if I don't do well on this or that matter. Teacher will help me and benevolently resolve everything." These practitioners know that our time is limited, but they still can't be diligent. Do they know that because of our attachments, how much more karma, which should have been borne by ourselves, will have to be borne by Teacher?

Actually I am not saying that I have been doing very well. But I have overcome the evil notion that, "You must do well first before you tell others to do well." People who haven't done well can also tell others to do well out of kindness. When I wrote this article, I constantly reminded myself that I must cherish this rare opportunity and be more diligent as the end comes closer and closer.

I believe that 2005 is a year in which Fa-rectification has made great progress. It is a very important year for Dafa disciples saving the world's people before the Fa rectifies the human world. It is a year in which Fa-rectification's enormous force has brought changes to mankind.

Cultivation is more important and more difficult than anything in the everyday world, as cultivation is broad and boundless. The above is just my personal understanding. Please kindly correct me if there are any mistakes.
