Practitioner Ms. Ye Mi from Xianmen City Reappeals

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Ye Mi is a Falun Dafa practitioner from the University of Xiamen, Fujian Province. She was arrested on December 27, 2004, during a city-wide arrest and has been detained for over one year. In her first trial on June 9, 2005, authorities attempted to prosecute her for fabricated crimes. The first trial failed, due to Ms. Ye's righteous thoughts and the collaboration of the spectators who had learned the truth. With the support of practitioners from China and abroad, the second trial on November 25, 2005, also failed.

On December 30, 2005, the Siming District Court of Xiamen City conducted a third trial. The court refused to answer questions raised by her lawyer. Against Chinese law, the court sentenced Ye Mi to four years in prison. Ms. Ye's lawyer has appealed again and demanded a retrial because of the lack of sufficient evidence.

We again appeal to all righteous people in the world to pay attention to the groundless persecution of practitioners in China! Ms. Ye Mi was born in a family of artists. Her mother is a famous artist in China. Ye Mi is a popular teacher in the Department of Art at Xiamen University. Now she is in prison due to the irrational persecution. Ms. Ye is only one out of thousands of practitioners persecuted in China. Let's work together and have justice prevail!
