Ms. Wang Ruo'e, 69, Secretly Sentenced

By a Falun Dafa Practitioner in Shijiazhuang City

(Clearwisdom.net) On February 16, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Ruo'e was sentenced without notification to her family or the public.

Ms. Wang Ruo'e is 69 years old and a retired employee of Shijiazhuang City Fertilizer Factory. On September 6, 2005, policeman Tan Jun (male) from Yucai Street Station and policemen from the Chang'an District Department ransacked her home and arrested her for refusing to renounce Falun Gong. She has been held in the Shijiazhuang brainwashing class (located in the "Hebei Province Legal Education Center"), and has been tortured with sleep deprivation and force-feeding while on hunger strike.

On December 9, 2005, Ms. Wang Ruo'e was transferred from the brainwashing class to Shijiazhuang City Second Detention Center, and was deprived of family visitation rights. Her family members were not allowed to enter the door of the detention center.

We have learned that Ms. Wang was put on trial without notification to her family or the public on February 16, 2006, and was sentenced secretly.

We call on all international human rights organizations and people of conscience to extend a helping hand, so that Ms. Wang Ruo'e can regain her freedom.
