Righteous Thoughts Come From Firm Faith in Master and the Fa

(Clearwisdom.net) I have gone through the past several years of persecution under the protection of our benevolent Master. I have not experienced anything earth shattering or devastating, and things appeared ordinary and simple. Yet I saw Master in a dream last night and felt his compassion. Although in my dream Master was only standing quietly beside me and didn't say anything, I knew Master was telling me to not slack off at the end and to be more diligent.

Sometimes I feel that although I have not made big mistakes in coordinating group events, my attachments to showing off and to myself have been reflected in little things. Now I can clearly see that there are still selfish elements in me that have not harmonized with "Truth, Compassion, Tolerance." I should break though the restraints of my human attachments, rectify everything with Dafa, deal with everything rationally, regulate the surface human behavior with righteous thoughts, and walk well my own path of Fa-rectification.

Since the CCP started persecuting Falun Gong, I have felt tremendous pressure. In the beginning, I didn't know to use righteous thoughts. I only had one thought: no matter what happens, nobody can move me, because I have Master. When the situation became very dangerous and I began having unkind thoughts, I used righteous thoughts to suppress them. Once, when the police twisted my arms and forced me to go with them, I had a calm mind and was not moved at all. I had no fear and a strong righteous thought that suppressed evil people. The police let go of me, turned around, and left. From that moment, I could really feel that revered Master was just besides me. Without fear, our righteous thoughts can change anything.

In the last few years, I have also run into some interference and been moved by human attachments. When a problem occurred, I did not look inside. Instead, I avoided the problem or became despondent. I used the Fa as an excuse to disguise my human attachments. In my family, when I had a conflict with my wife and daughter, although I looked inside, I often measured things with human emotions and notions. If I can eliminate all attachments, treat my wife as a fellow practitioner, get rid of warped notions formed among everyday people, change my ways of doing things, and use righteous thoughts to guide my actions, the problems will be easily solved.

First, I think we have to have strong faith in Master and the Fa. We have to have true righteous thoughts in order to not be moved by the surface society, to break through postnatal notions and human-level principles, to distinguish good from evil, to understand the meaning of living in this world, and to recognize the great mission of Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples. Only then can we become true Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples and be worthy of this title.
