Two Practitioners in Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province, Die Shortly After Being Arrested
(Clearwisdom.net) At around 7 PM on March 7, 2006,
police officer Wang Mingxue from the Daonan Police Station and a Mr. Li from the
Coal Mine residential committee, along with some other people, broke into a home
in the area. They arrested practitioners She Hongyan, Li Guixia, Hong Fei and
another female practitioner whose name is unknown. Both Hong Fei and the unknown
female practitioner had been plagued by sickness karma for a long period of
time. Mr. Hong, around 20, used to have kidney problems. After he took up the
practice of Falun Gong, his symptoms improved, however, the kidney problem still
relapsed from time to time. The female practitioner used to have cancer. On the
day of the arrest, after he was taken to the police car, the police saw that
Hong Fei was not in good health and they threw him out of the car and onto the
street. As a result, Hong Fei died. The female practitioner fainted when she was
arrested. Not long after, she also passed away. The details of these two deaths
are being investigated. At present, the CCP is spreading the rumor that the two
practitioners died because of their practice of Falun Gong. She Hongyan and Li Guixia are currently jailed in Daonan
Police Station and the police do not allow their family members to visit them. At around 3:00 PM on March 10, 2006, people from Qinhuangdao
City Party Committee led dozens of national security brigade policemen and broke
into the home of practitioner Chang Li. They took away his laptop, printer,
Falun Dafa books, truth-clarification materials, tape recorder, DVD,
money and some other personal belongings. Another elderly female practitioner
who was visiting Chang Li was also arrested along with him. At present, Chang Li
is being detained at the Qinghuangdao First Detention Center. It has also been
discovered that another practitioner, Ji Qingyu, was arrested at his workplace
on the same day. He was taken away by national security brigade policeman Lu
Ping. At present, Ji is detained at the Qinghuangdao Second Detention Center. Practitioner Chang Li, in his 30s, is a medical doctor at the
Qinhuangdao Chinese Medicine Hospital. He lives on the fifth floor of unit 1,
building 16 of Wenmingli residential area. His wife works for the city water
plant. Their child is only 8 years old. According to local residents, they saw
some suspicious people wandering around several days before Chang's arrest. When
the police arrested him on March 10, people condemned the police for arresting
good people. The police lied and said that practitioners are involved in
politics. When Chang Li told people that Falun Dafa is good, the police beat him
up in front of onlookers. At around 3:00 PM on March 10, 2006, there was another
incident of arrest in Qinglong County, Qinhuangdao City. Zhang Shujun, Qinglong
County national security brigade captain, is the main culprit. Practitioner Liu
Huimin, in his 40s, from Haihong Village, was released last year after five
years of illegal imprisonment. Since he lost his job and did not have a place to
live, he was living with Chen Zhiling temporarily. On March 10, policeman Zhang
Shujun and other people knocked on the door of Chen Zhiling's home, claiming to
be a relative. After they got in, they ransacked the home and took away Liu
Huimin. Mr. Wu Wenfeng and Ms. Wu Wenjin were also arrested recently.
Lian Baochang had his home ransacked. At present, in order to avoid further
persecution, Lian Baochang has been forced to leave his home and move from place
to place. Daonan Police Station: 17 Haibin Rd, Qinhuangdao City, zip
