Jinchuan District Court Persecutes Falun Dafa Practitioners in Jinchang City, Gansu Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Since the persecution began on July 20, 1999, under the instruction of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and 610 Office, the Jinchuan District Court in Jinchang City, Gansu Province has changed from reluctantly following the evil persecution to being an obedient tool of persecution by the CCP. The judges in the Jinchuan District Court have lost all professional, moral, and human sense of right and wrong.

Due to the righteous thoughts and actions of Dafa practitioners, every time an illegal trial of Dafa practitioners opens to the public, many Dafa practitioners send righteous thoughts to disintegrate the evil and dishearten the perpetrators. This effort often made the judges at a loss for words, and in several cases, the trials could not continue. Later, they dared not conduct trials openly. Instead, they set up a secret court in the Jinchang Detention Center. They forced heavy sentences upon Dafa practitioners illegally and unreasonably, without following any judicial procedures during the trials.

Wei Chongwen, the deputy head of the Jinchuan District Court, has presided over many trials leading to the illegal sentence of Dafa practitioners. Xie Yuping, head of the criminal court, has participated in many illegal sentences of Dafa practitioners either as a judge or as a jury member.

Others frequently involved in these illegal trials are: Zhang Huining, Ma Lin, Qi Shiping, Li Yufang and Yang Liqiang.

They have caused tremendous pain to individual Dafa practitioners and their families.

However, out of compassion, Dafa practitioners have written them many letters urging them to become compassionate and hoping they could understand the truth and restore the loss that they had induced. Otherwise, their own future will be unimaginable.

In the past several years, the following sixteen Dafa practitioners have been illegally sentenced by the Jinchuan District Court:

Ms. Guo Hong, 40, an employee of the power plant of Jinchuan Group Co. Ltd. in Jinchang City, was illegally sentenced to eleven years' imprisonment in mid-December, 2002.

Ms. Li Guiying, 60, was illegally sentenced to thirteen years in prison in mid-December, 2003.

Ms. Shan Siyuan, 36, a teacher of electronics at the Training Center of the Jinchuan Group Co. Ltd., was illegally sentenced to thirteen years of imprisonment in mid-December, 2003.

Ms. Chong Jinxia, 33, a teacher of electronics at the Training Center of Jjinchuan

Group Co. Ltd., was illegally sentenced to eleven years of imprisonment in mid-December, 2003.

Ms. Fu Guiqin, 51, an employee of Jinchang City Insurance Co. in Gansu Province, was illegally sentenced to five years of imprisonment in mid-December, 2004.

Ms. Zhu Xiulan, sentenced to four years' imprisonment.

Ms. Wang Yuhong, three-year prison term.

Ms. Li Dexiang, 43, was sentenced to a five-year term in August 2004, illegally and secretly by the Jinchuan District Court.

Ms. Zhao Fenglian, 53, was persecuted to death in Lanzhou Prison after being illegally sentenced to a four-year prison term by the Jinchuan District Court in August 2004.

Mr. Hao Jun, 46, Deputy Secretary of the Jinchang City Tax Collection Office, was illegally sentenced to four-and-a-half years in prison in 2003.

Mr. An Zhanfeng, in his 30's, an employee at the chemical plant of the Jinchuan Group Co. Ltd., was illegally sentenced to a ten-year term in mid-December, 2002.

Mr. Zhang Yonglong, 37, an employee at the smelter of the Jinchuan Group Co. Ltd., was illegally sentenced to a nine-year prison term in mid-December, 2002.

Mr. Qin Dewu, in his 30's, a farmer from Yongchang County, was illegally sentenced to a twelve-year term in mid-December, 2002.

Mr. Ma Zhigang, 32, an employee at the smelter of the Jinchuan Group Co. Ltd., was illegally sentenced to a twelve-year term in mid-December, 2003.

Mr. Wu Kaili is a retired employee of the Life Company of the Jinchuan Group Co. Ltd.; details of his sentence are unknown.

Mr. Gao Jiyin, five-year sentence.
