Shulan Police Illegally Arrest Falun Gong Practitioners

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa has spread around the world since 1992, and many people in Shulan, Jilin Province have learned the practice one after another and achieved physical and mental health, as well as moral improvement. However, simply for promotions and personal gains, Shulan policemen have been closely following Jiang's evil political group against their conscience, to wantonly arrest and torture this group of benevolent people. Some recent crimes against Falun Gong practitioners by Shulan Police are documented below.

Before 5:00 a.m. on the morning of November 20, 2005, four policemen from the National Security Corps of Shulan City Police Department broke into Mr. Xie Hongtu's home. Because Mr. Xie Hongtu's wife is a Falun Gong practitioner, they illegally searched his house and confiscated property without a warrant or identification. They brutality terrified Xie's little daughter at the scene. However, the "People's Policemen" swaggered off without paying any attention to her.

On the morning of February 23, 2006, Shulan police illegally broke into Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Qiao Hongyan's home and illegally arrested her. At that time Qiao Hongyan was doing housework. She was arrested by the policemen while she was wearing only slippers and pajamas, and no coat. She is currently being tortured in Nanshan Detention Station in Shulan.

At about 4:00 p.m. on the afternoon of February 27, 2006, the National Security Corps of Shulan City Police Department again dispatched about eight policemen and surrounded the entrance of Xie Hongtu's home. They tried to break in and commit crimes again, but were bravely blocked outside of the door by Mr. Xie. The policemen did not get their dirty job done, but left with some words, "It seems that you don't want peace any longer," which means that they will plot revenge and continue to harass his family.

On February 28, 2006, Fengguang Police Station of the Jishu Branch of Shulan City Police Department dispatched several policemen and harassed the homes of several Dafa practitioners in Tianhe Village again. They forcibly arrested Ms. Zhao Haixia, who was working at home. Zhao Haixia is currently detained and tortured at Nanshan detention station.

We hope the benevolent people can understand more about the truth of the persecution against Falun Gong, and lend their helping hands. Let's work together to end this tragedy that has lasted seven years.
