National Security Officers in Wendeng City, Shandong Province Persecute Practitioner Lin Jixiao and Her Family

(Clearwisdom.net) On October 26, 2005, National Security Officers Xiang Hongping and Sun Guohai in Wendeng City, Shandong Province arrested Ms. Lin Jixiao. She was initially held at the detention center in Wendeng City. Ms. Lin refused to give up the practice of Falun Gong, and she is currently being held at the forced labor camp in Wang Village, where she faces further persecution.

Ms. Lin became very weak and experienced difficulty in moving around after she held a fifteen-day hunger strike at the Wendeng City Detention Center. Since she insisted that she would keep practicing Falun Dafa, the police officers continued persecuting her. Despite a lack of evidence, they sent her to the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp to serve a three-year sentence.

It was a busy autumn season, and Ms. Lin's husband was taking care things in and around their home. They had invested a large sum of money to plant four acres of American Ginseng. Ms. Lin's husband was overloaded with the massive amount of farm work, and without Ms. Lin's help, he would not be able to plant the crop. Some practitioners learned about his plight and volunteered to help.

Instead of praising this assistance as a virtue, Officers Xiang and Sun used it as an excuse for additional persecution. When Ms. Lin's husband applied for permission to visit his wife, they demanded that he disclose the names of the practitioners who had helped at his farm. They forced him to abandon hope of visiting his wife at the forced labor camp. These incidents clearly illustrate the ruthless nature of the Chinese Communist Party in persecuting practitioners and their families.
