Women's Prison are located on South Gongye Road. Shandong Provincial Women's
Prison is to the southwest of Shandong Provincial Prison. The sign hanging
outside Shandong Provincial Women's Prison reads, "Shandong Xingye
Development Ltd."

The Shandong Province Police Hospital is another place where practitioners
are being persecuted. Practitioner Liu Jian, who was tortured to death at the
Liuchangshan Labor Camp, was detained in the hospital from April to June in
2001. At the beginning of the year, practitioner Meng Lijun was tortured to the
verge of death in this hospital.
The hospital has two sections. The so-called external (public) section is
open to the public and they can come seek treatment. The internal section is
behind the public section. It is where critically-ill detainees transferred from
various prisons, labor camps and detention centers are detained. The police
choose two or three detainees who have demonstrated "good performance"
to monitored each of the detainees. The internal section is in fact a prison. It
is just that it has some doctors and some medical equipment.
