The Glittering Twenty-Four Yuan


(Clearisdom.net) Today some fellow practitioners brought me some money, which was neatly wrapped. When I opened the packet, I found that the highest denomination was fifty cents, and the total sum was twenty-four yuan. There was also a neatly written note inside. It said:

"I am not a Falun Gong practitioner. After several contacts with Falun Gong practitioners, I knew that Falun Gong was a righteous belief and not a cult. Falun Gong really lets people realize the meaning of 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.' With my pocket money and meager strength, I would like to support Falun Gong's production of more informational materials to awaken the people's consciences so that they will support righteousness and oppose evil."

After reading this note, I shed tears. I will never fall short of the expectations of Teacher and sentient beings. I will try my best to do the three things well and save more sentient beings.

The secretary of a political and judiciary committee protects Dafa practitioners

One practitioner has a relative who is a secretary of the Political and Judiciary Committee in a particular county. The practitioner often clarified the facts to him and told him that it was an extremely virtuous deed to treat practitioners kindly and protect them. Good would be rewarded with good, and evil would meet with retribution. That is the principle of heaven, the practitioner explained. The secretary replied that he would definitely help practitioners and not persecute them in his jurisdiction.

In that county, a practitioner was a CCP secretary of the township. Once his superiors had asked him to write the so-called three statements. He flatly refused. His supervisor told him he would be sent away if he did not write the statements. After learning about this case, the secretary of the Political and Judiciary Committee said that he would take care of the matter. He was able to find a way to protect the practitioner.
