By a Falun Dafa practitioner in Qinhuangdao City

(Clearwisdom.net) He was the oldest son in the family. He lost sight in both eyes due to a bear attack in the 1970s. He lived through the 80s in isolation and loneliness due to his disability, slowly overcoming deep sadness and desperation. Only he knows how much suffering he had to endure. In the 90s he wanted to learn some skills so people would no longer look down on him. He started learning qigong and hoped one day to make money by treating illnesses.

His brothers and sisters tried their best to help him. They found him many qigong books. One day his brother brought home a copy of Zhuan Falun. His brother read it to him and he at once knew that it was a wonderful practice because the book answered all of his questions about life. His mind was purified and he realized Falun Gong was better than any of the qigong exercises he had learned before, because it is the truth. His brother went to learn the Falun Gong exercises and taught them to him. He started smiling again after learning Falun Gong.

The man's name is Wu Wenfeng, and he once lived in Yichun, Heilongjiang Province. He later moved to Shanhaiguan, Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province. His brother is Wu Wenzhang. His sister, Wu Wenjin, seeing the tremendous changes in her two brothers, also started practicing Falun Gong.

After the Chinese Communist Party launched its fanatic persecution against Falun Gong in 1999, the three siblings suffered six years of unimaginable persecution.

Blind Wu Wenfeng was illegally detained in the No. 2 Detention Center in Qinhuangdao City in 2003. He was later sent back to Yichun and detained in a Nursing Home where he was forbidden to contact others or listen to the Falun Gong teachings. He held a hunger strike for more than 20 days and was released only when on the verge of death. Wu left home to avoid further persecution. Around 8:00 p.m. on March 7, 2006, Lu Ping from Qinhuangdao National Security Division ordered his arrest. His current whereabouts are unknown.

Wu Wenzhang, went to Beijing in 2001 to say, "Falun Dafa is good." The police arrested him, and sent him to a police station under the jurisdiction of the Daxing Police Department. He was savagely tortured and then sent back to his hometown, where he was detained for fifteen days. In June 2003, agitators from the Shanhaiguan Police Department rampantly arrested Dafa practitioners. Wu Wenzhang left home to avoid further persecution. On April 30, 2004, Fu Yong and others from Shanhaiguan Police Department found him and illegally arrested him. He was unlawfully sentenced to three-and one-half years in May 2004. Communist regime agents at the Jidong Prison have persecuted him ever since. Before the 2006 Chinese New Year, Mr. Wu showed symptoms of severe illnesses and he could not eat. The prison authorities firmly refused to release him.

Wu Wenjin quickly recovered from low blood pressure, stomach disease and nephritis after she started practicing Falun Gong in 1999. She was once held at the No. 2 Detention Center in Qinhuangdao City. She later returned to Yichun but the local police constantly harassed her. In late March 2004, persecutors from the district 610 Office and from the Xinjieji Police Station harassed her several times at home. She was forced to leave home to avoid further persecution. On March 7, 2006, she was arrested along with her brother Wu Wenfeng. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
