By a Dafa practitioner in Changchun, China

(Clearwisdom.net) I would like to recount the miraculous things that happened to my sister-in-law.

On the afternoon of October 10, 2005, my sister-in-law's nose would not stop bleeding. They couldn't help her in the district hospital, so she had to go to the hospital in the city. Her platelet count was only 5,000. Her condition was critical, and she had to be admitted to the hospital. The doctor immediately gave her cortisone injections, and wanted to perform a bone marrow transplant. Throughout the course of events, I kept talking and clarifying the truth to her. She said so herself, that her big sister and younger brother had changed a lot for the better after practicing Falun Gong, and that she would start practicing too when she recovered from this episode.

My sister-in-law's arms and legs were covered with purpuric spots. I asked her to say, "Falun Dafa is good."

That afternoon at 4:00 p.m., to get a more accurate diagnosis, we transferred my sister-in-law to a larger hospital. Immediately after being admitted, she underwent a bone marrow transplant. I told my sister-in-law to recite, "Falun Dafa is good." My husband and I, together with another two fellow disciples, sent forth righteous thoughts at the bedside. We wouldn't allow the dark minions, the rotten ghosts and the old forces' evil elements to interfere with my sister-in-law from obtaining the Fa. After the procedure, my sister-in-law said that she didn't feel any pain, nor was she nervous.

The next day, the test results came back. Her platelet count dropped from 8,000 to 6,000. By chance, the patient opposite her was suffering from the same condition. The twenty-something-year-old had been in the hospital for about ten days, and had spent over 30,000 yuan on medical treatment. Not only were there no signs of improvement, she did not look like she was going to make it. Facing this situation, my sister-in-law said, "I shouldn't be seeking treatment here. I should be practicing Falun Gong at home." I immediately called her husband and told him that no matter how busy he was (it was in the midst of the fall harvest), he had to come to the hospital. The doctor said, besides this condition, they also discovered rheumatoid factors and disequilibrium of her liver and triple Warmer meridians. This would be affected by and interfere with the pharmacological treatment, making her case difficult to manage. Her husband was in utter despair. Forget about not having the money, even if they had, it would not do any good. At that moment, I asked him to let my sister-in-law come home with me to practice Falun Gong. When he learned that there was still hope, he couldn't hold back his tears and wept, and said to me, "My dear sister-in-law, if we were not in the hospital, I would kneel and kowtow to you."

Thus, after staying three nights and four days in hospital, and spending nearly 7,500 yuan, we went home without any medicine.

I kept close by my sister-in-law in the ensuing days. Fellow practitioners also came. We studied the Fa, practiced the exercises, and sent forth righteous thoughts together. Three days after my sister-in-law left the hospital, she kept up her practice and was able to complete the standing exercises. Although dripping with sweat, she was clearly in high spirits. On the seventh day, her purpuric spots had already disappeared.

When my sister-in-law's husband came back to the village with the diagnosis and medical expenses receipt to file for the medical expenditure, the village head and people from the village commission saw it and they all said that she had no chance. The people who were friendly with my sister-in-law all cried in grief. My sister-in-law was afraid to upset her father who had a stroke, so at night she covered herself and cried under her blankets.

When everyone heard that after I took her home to practice Falun Gong and that she could be cured, the village chief said, "If she's cured from practicing Falun Gong, then I will practice too." At the time there were people who also said, "I'll practice too." When my sister-in-law's husband came to my house and said to me, "Sister-in-law, I want to read the book (Zhuan Falun) too (before he didn't believe whatever we said about Falun Gong)," my sister-in-law's father-in-law was very thankful.

Her older sister and younger brother's wife all came to my house to see her. They were also Falun Dafa cultivators, and like other practitioners, had learned the songs written by Dafa practitioners. As they sang, they all started to cry. The Buddha's infinite grace, and Master's compassion is impossible to repay.

On the second day after my sister-in-law left the hospital, I took the opportunity of completing the paperwork for her discharge from the hospital to return to the ward and clarify the truth to several patients. I gave each of them a small booklet of truth-clarifying material, so they could understand the facts and have a bright future.

Within the span of a mere seven days, my sister-in-law had experienced the test of life and death; the people around her bore testimony to the miraculousness of Dafa; the people in my hometown had personally felt that "Falun Dafa is good," and I did what a Dafa disciple should. All of these blessings came from the great merciful Master, from Dafa, and from Dafa disciples' firm righteous faith in Master and Dafa.

After staying in my home for 23 days, I took my sister-in-law back to her home. It caused quite a stir and the whole village came to see her. My sister-in-law told everyone, "It was Falun Dafa that saved my life." Everyone praised Dafa's miraculousness, and predestined people entered into the Tao and obtained the Fa one by one.

Epilogue

My sister-in-law is currently managing a home of seven. She studies the Fa and practices the exercises every day. People from the villages north and south frequently come to her door, to verify that the things that happened to her body were true and believable. They all returned home to study the Fa and practice as well.
