Exposing Cases of Persecution in Nanjing Women's Prison

Since October 2005, officials from 610 Offices of various cities in Jiangsu Province gathered in the Nanjing Women's Prison, starting another round of "transformation" for the Falun Gong practitioners detained there.

The following are a few of the cases.

Practitioner Ms. Song Weijuan, from Nantong City, has been sentenced to 10 and a half years in Nanjing Women's Prison. In the second half of 2005, the National Security Bureau investigated Ms. Song again and threatened to increase her prison term. Over a long period of slave labor and mental abuse, her health became extremely poor. Still, she was not allowed to take a rest or receive medical treatment.

Ms. Zhang Yuhua, a resident of Nanjing, was incarcerated in the prison.

Ms. Zhang Xiurong from Xuzhou, has been sentenced to a 5-year prison term. She is very determined in her belief in Falun Dafa.

Ms. Li Jinan from Kunshan City, is scheduled to be released on May 9, 2006. However, the 610 Office may scheme to not let her go home after she is released. We sincerely hope everyone will send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate all elements of the old forces and support our fellow practitioners. In addition to that, we will contact Ms. Li's family members and encourage them to take Ms. Li back home with firm determination.

Practitioners of Jiangsu Province, please send powerful righteous thoughts together, eliminating all arrangements by the old forces and exposing all the evil acts with various methods.
