Recently, Falun Dafa practitioners in Maoming City have been followed, monitored on the telephone, harassed at home, and arrested. Around January 10, 2006, practitioners Ms. Zhu Fangxia, Ms. Chen Yuping, and Ms. Shi Xiuping were arrested and placed in a brainwashing center with the "excuse" that the Two Congresses would be held soon.

On January 12, 2006, practitioner Mr. Pan Shengde from the Maogang District had his home ransacked and was forced to leave home to avoid being arrested. Some other practitioners' homes were also ransacked.

Around February 22, 2006, practitioners Mr. Abao (last name unknown) and Mr. Liang Jinchun went missing. Ten policemen ransacked one practitioner's home in the Guandu District. Two Falun Dafa material production centers were destroyed.

Practitioner Ms. Li Xihui is an employee of the Sichuan Province Radio Station. In October 2005, she was arrested by policemen from the Simaqiao Station when passing out truth clarifying materials in the Radio Station Family Housing. She was detained in the Chengdu City Detention Center for two weeks.

Upon returning to work, her employer withheld her salary, paying only the minimum living expenses, and did not allow her to go back to work. She was required to submit an understanding report within a certain time, and her work ID and entrance pass were taken away. The security guards forbade her to enter the office area, and security guards and the CCP secretary constantly called her and went to her home to threaten her husband, trying to force her to give up her cultivation.

At the end of July 2005, practitioners Ms. Liu Shujie and Ms. Huang Yu were arrested when passing out truth clarifying materials in the West Lake area of Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. In February 2006, they were sentenced to six and three years in prison respectively. They are appealing the "illegal sentencing."

At the beginning of 2006, practitioner Ms. Gan Jiejun from Shenzhen City was arrested when passing out truth clarifying materials on Hongbao Street. No one knows where she is now. Ms. Gan Jiejun is in her 60s, and has been arrested several times and held in Sanshui Forced Labor Camp once.

Practitioner Mr. Geng Dong from Tianjin City is in Sanshui Forced Labor Camp in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. His term ended on January 24, 2006, but it has been extended by three months. Mr. Geng has been on a hunger strike to protest since January 2006.

On February 11, 2006, practitioners Mr. Wang Sanyun and his wife, from Jizhong Township, Lushan County, Henan Province, were arrested when passing out truth clarifying materials. We recently heard that they are detained in the Lushan County Detention Center.

On March 8, 2006, practitioner Mr. Zhao Aijun from Shihezi City was secretly taken from the First Detention Center by a state security agent. Mr. Zhao Aijun's whereabouts are unclear.

On February 24, 2006, practitioner Ms. Lin Jinlan, in her 70s, from the Jungong Community in the Qiaokou District of Wuhan City went missing and she hasn't been heard from since. Ms. Lin Jinlan has been arrested several times because she practices Falun Dafa and believes in "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance."

On February 9, 2006, policemen arrested practitioners Ms. Feng Chunhua and Mr. He Xuequan from Cangxi County, Guangyuan City, and ransacked their homes. Eight practitioners have been arrested, and seven out of the eight were detained at the Canxi County Hotel for a forced brainwashing session. The other practitioner was detained at the Cangxi County Detention Center.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Mo Xiaoyan is in her 30s and lives in Yueyang City. She was detained in Changsha City Women's Prison from 1999 to 2002. She went back to her hometown Shaoyang City in February 2003 and was arrested when passing out truth clarifying materials. No one knows what happened after that.

At 11:00 a.m. on March 14, 2006, led by State Security Division Head Liao Xuesheng (male) of Gong'an County Police Department, more than 30 policemen destroyed one Falun Dafa materials center, taking equipment worth more than 20,000 yuan, arresting one elderly practitioner, and forcing one young practitioner to leave home to avoid being arrested.

On March 14, 2006, Xichang City State Security agents Wang Yongrong (male), Tai Gangyi (male), and a third agent went to practitioners Ms. Song Pingxiu and Ms. Yuan Daqin's home and forced Ms. Song Pingxiu to sign her name on a "Deposit Personal Belongings" list.

On the morning of March 14, 2006, about seven plainclothes policemen sent by the 610 Office stormed into practitioner Mr. Zhang Yiming's home on 18-524 Lane, Aomen Street, Putuo District. They arrested Mr. Zhang Yiming and ransacked his home for several hours. Mr. Zhang Yiming is now detained in the Putuo District Detention Center. Mr. Zhang Yiming was once sentenced to five years in Tilanqiao Prison, and was released early in June 2005.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li (first name unknown, people call her Aunt Li) from the Longquanyi District in Chengdu City has been missing for several days. One person who knows her said she saw her clarifying the truth in Longquan Music Square and being arrested. No one knows where she is now.

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Xie Zhiyuan was arrested in February 2006 when clarifying the truth. He spent two years in Dayan Forced Labor Camp located in Ziyang City, starting in January 2000. He was sentenced to another three years of forced labor in 2002 and served that term in Xinhua Forced Labor Camp located in Mianyang City. In 2004, he confined to the Xinjin Brainwashing Center only one month after being released from his second forced labor term.

On the afternoon of March 13, 2006, practitioner Mr. Ni Yinbao from Hangzhou City was found by security guards when passing out truth clarifying materials in Caihe Neighborhood. The security guards caught him at the exit and sent him to a detention center on the same night. His blood pressure is very high, and his life is in danger.

Recently, the Guizhou Province Government issued a notice to the Huaxi District in Guiyang City that the reward for reporting each practitioner had been raised from 500 yuan to 2,000 yuan.

On March 2, 2006, Resident Registration Office Head Li Wengui of the Changchun City Police Department appeared on Jilin Province TV's "Looking at the City" program and said publicly that they would start detailed checks of all rental houses, with an emphasis on tracking down Falun Dafa practitioners who have left home to avoid arrest.
