(Clearwisdom.net) When I was 12 years old, I suffered many illnesses, I went to various places to seek cures, but they didn't work. In 1995 someone told me practicing qigong would not only heal my illnesses but could also treat other people's illnesses. So I decided to try it. I had only tried it for a few days when an animal spirit came to my body. When I was practicing that particular qigong, I did not recognize my parents. This qigong didn't cure my illnesses, to the contrary, my health deteriorated daily. I thought about quitting but the moment I had that thought, the animal spirit, being in control of my body, would force me to do crazy things. Whenever I walked on the street, it would push me into cars or knock me to the ground. What's more, when I went to sleep it would choke my neck. My mother was anxious and took a knife and stayed by my side, constantly waving the knife around my neck. But the moment she moved the knife away, it would again fiercely choke me, trying to kill me. My mother invited a fortune-teller and a monk to drive it away, and the situation became a little better. But it still constantly interfered with me. For a few years I could not sleep well, my health was at its worst, and I was just struggling to survive.

In April 1998, a relative gave me a copy of Zhuan Falun. After reading just the first twenty pages, I felt it was so good. When I was trying to read it carefully, the animal spirit suddenly pounced on me, and it used its mouth to try to suck me in. My stomach and back became almost as slim as a reed. When I felt I was going to die, I suddenly saw Teacher. I immediately shouted loudly "Teacher help me!" Before my voice stopped, Teacher grabbed that animal spirit and threw it toward a dressing table, and instantaneously it disappeared. Afterwards Teacher benevolently and gently tapped my head. I felt streams of heat flow down from my head, and through my whole body, making me feel extremely light.

At that time I was so excited that I cried and said that Teacher gave me a second life, I would for sure study Dafa to the end. From then on, I studied Dafa and did the exercises daily. Soon all my illnesses vanished. My bad temper also became better. I took lightly many things in my daily life, and through my examples I often validated Dafa's mighty power.

Soon after I started the practice, however, Jiang Zemin's regime and the Chinese Communist Party started to brutally persecute Falun Gong. To clarify the truth and ask for justice for Teacher and Falun Gong, I went with other practitioners to police departments and media offices to validate Dafa. Thus I was arrested by police. After I broke away from the detention center with righteous thoughts, I firmly walked a path of safeguarding Dafa.

In the past several years, the police have never stopped monitoring and harassing me. When I became homeless the first time, I was again arrested by police and held at a detention center. To resist the persecution, I went on hunger strike for nine days. With Teacher's benevolent protection, I came out of detention with righteous thoughts in an upright and dignified manner on the tenth day. After that, I put all my efforts into the three things Teacher requests of us. In the process of safeguarding Dafa, I encountered many issues as well as many mighty things. I would like to write about them and share them with fellow practitioners.

On May 12, 2001 the night before the worldwide Falun Dafa Day celebration, My husband and I took some truth clarification materials and banners declaring, "Falun Dafa is great" to post in the center of the city. When we arrived on the street, we saw the street was filled with police vehicles, and both uniformed and plainclothes police officers. We were not scared. We continued to distribute the truth clarification materials and banners calmly. When we were posting the last banner on a major entrance to the airport, a few police officers walked toward us, telling us to stop and surrounded us. With flashlights on our faces, one of the officers holding truth clarification material about the "Tiananmen Square Self-immolation" yelled at me, "Did you distribute this?" I calmly told him that I did it, and that it was to save people who have been deceived. "The Tiananmen Square Self-immolation was a lie perpetrated by Jiang's regime to persecute and stir hatred toward Falun Gong. Even you, the police, have been deceived. Our Teacher is righteous. He spreads 'Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance' to teach people to be better persons. We practice 'Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance', and it has numerous benefits yet does no harm to family, society or people. We are good people. You should not arrest good people."

After that, two officers silently left. The one who stayed threatened me, saying that if I continued to speak, both of us would be arrested. I said, "You, as the people's police, should be the people's guardian, and should protect people's legal rights from being violated anywhere and anytime. You should not persecute Falun Gong practitioners. Do not commit crimes against your conscience. Do not commit crimes against good people. If you don't listen, and still do bad things to help the evil, that is doing the worst thing in the world." I then told them that Falun Gong is spreading and is welcomed all over the world, and that more and more kind people support and speak out for Falun Gong, etc. I also told them that my husband and I are both retired employees. If we didn't practice Falun Gong, we would not even have sufficient food to eat. If we had illnesses here and there, we would not have enough money to see a doctor. The more I spoke the more I wanted to continue. At that time I had no fear at all, rather I developed the heart to safeguard Dafa and save sentient beings. I just wanted the police to know the truth so that they would not commit crimes against Dafa, and would thus be saved.

I spoke continuously for about an hour, and they listened silently. They did not move and could not speak vicious words. Thus we left them and walked toward another street. My husband said, "How amazing! If you didn't speak about Dafa's mighty power frightening the police, both of us would have been either imprisoned or punished with big fines."

On July 20, 2001, my mother and I went to the busiest bridge in the city to post "Falun Dafa is great" banners. At that time two guards on bridge duty walked toward us. We immediately sent righteous thoughts to prevent them from seeing us. Those two guards walked near us as if we didn't exist and turned their eyes in another direction. Thus we finished posting and left successfully. A few months later we still saw those banners in locations that passing people and vehicles could immediately see. People said that they could see the banners shining.

There were still some materials left, so I asked my mother to go home. Along with one ordinary person, who already knew of Falun Gong after I clarified the truth to her, I continued to distribute the truth clarification materials. (During our long-term truth clarification, many ordinary people not only know Falun Gong is good, but also take the initiative to go out with me to distribute truth clarification materials) When we reached a turn in the road, three police officers suddenly appeared and were walking toward us. I took the bag of materials and told her, "You quickly go cross the street. I will be fine. I'll see you later." Then I sent out very strong righteous thoughts and with Teacher's help, I passed those officers shoulder by shoulder, with the materials in my hand. That ordinary person found nothing happened, so she came back from the other side of the street. While saying that Dafa is magnificent, she continued distributing the material with me until they were all gone. Then we safely returned home.

Like the instances that occurred above, with Teacher's Dafa illuminating everything, many things that were risky and dangerous, turned to out to be safe. In the past several years it was always like that. In 2004, a few practitioners and I went together to many suburban areas and villages and distributed truth-clarifying materials to thousands of families. For several months, it was really like "Forget about your thick fog or fierce wind swirling, Mountain rains along the way wash off dust of the expedition." ("Expedition" from Hong Yin II, provisional translation subject to improvement) We also witnessed Dafa's mighty power.

One time we went to county A to distribute truth clarification materials. It was very dark, and we relied only on one map. While we were crossing a street to distribute materials, all of a sudden a police officer riding a bicycle was chasing after us shouting, "Stop." A practitioner asked what we should do. I said, "Ignore it, do not look back, walk in the front, and send out righteous thoughts, 'We are Falun Gong practitioners. No one can prevent us from saving sentient beings. Whoever prevents us will be committing a sin. Immediately stop, otherwise you will be eliminated!'" When the righteous thoughts were sent out, that officer's bicycle stopped about 30 meters from us. Then he turned around and left. We safely left county A even though it was full of police sirens.

Another time we went to a place to distribute truth clarification materials. We distributed in several dozen villages along the way. When there were only a little over 500 flyers left, due to the road being so rough, the vehicle broke down at around 3:00 a.m. All of its oil had leaked out. We could not find anyone, nor was there a repair shop nearby. It seemed the breakdown would be hard to fix in a short time. Along the way all the materials we distributed had the same format and packaging. If we could not leave the site with our material before dawn, the police would easily find us. At that urgent moment, we all calmed down and sent righteous thoughts, asking for Teacher's help and protection.

Immediately a practitioner whose third eye was opened saw that surrounding our location, there was thick dark fog, and groups of demons were surrounding us. We then sent out strong righteous thoughts, "We are Dafa practitioners, saving sentient beings. We have Teacher's protection. We do not allow any demons to interfere. Whoever interferes will perish!" Following our reciting of the Fa rectification verses, all the demons were destroyed. Teacher sent out countless golden rays and filled the surrounding dimension with bright light.

Then we heard the sound of an automobile approaching from a distance. It was an almost-empty vehicle coming toward us! We were all brought to tears, saying Teacher sent a car to pick us up! We were excited and jumping with joy. We all got in the car with our truth clarification material. The owner of the car said, "You are so lucky! Usually there is only one trip per day on this road, and it comes by here at around 4:00 p.m. I just got an emergency call requesting me to immediately go to the capital city to pick up a group of people. That's why I'm driving an empty car in the middle of the night." Hearing what the owner said, we all knew this was evidence of our Teacher benevolently protecting us, and the mighty power of the Fa.

For more than six years, what we witnessed and validated proves that "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" of Dafa is everywhere in the cosmos, encompassing all matter. As long as we follow the Fa, our validating Dafa and saving sentient beings will be invincible. That means if Dafa disciples of the Fa-rectification period walk well our path, Teacher's boundless compassion and Dafa's mighty power will show up. When any of our thoughts or notions do not follow the Fa, do not come from the basis of Fa, they can bring all kinds of unexpected troubles, even huge tribulations. No matter how big or small an issue is, it is all like this. But when we walk well our Fa-rectification path, no matter how hard and risky it is, Teacher immediately takes care of us and helps us smoothly pass the test.

Looking back on the course of Fa-rectification, after studying again and again Teacher's new article "The Closer to the End, the More Diligent You Should Be," I kept looking inside myself, and I found that compared to myself during the initial period of validating Dafa, I slacked off a lot, and became much less diligent. I felt ashamed of my course of Fa-rectification, and even more ashamed for Teacher's infinite grace and patient teaching. During this end of the Fa-rectification period, I am determined to be diligent, to continue to do the three things well, and to walk more righteously and well the final path. Only then will I not let down Teacher's anticipation and sentient being's hopes, will I not let down my prehistoric promise, and follow Teacher to save all sentient beings openly and nobly.
