By a practitioner in Heilongjiang province

(Clearwisdom.net) As Spring turned to Summer in 2004, I began feeling a slight ache in my stomach. After going through more than ten western-trained and traditional Chinese medical doctors, I still received no decisive diagnosis. Some said it was a nerve ache and others suggested appendicitis. After forty-some days of intravenous injections and more than twenty concoctions of Chinese medicinal ingredients, my physical condition had not improved at all. I found a hardening in my abdomen, and suddenly the doctors diagnosed it as colon cancer.

Hearing this news, I felt as though I was being hit hard on the head. Taking the doctor's recommendation, I went through colon surgery with the follow-up of chemo-therapy forty-some days after the surgery. The chemo-therapy brought me a great deal of suffering, and I was physically and mentally perturbed with nausea, loss of hair, internal bleeding, and more. Thorough physical checkups also found many illnesses in my body such as spleen swelling, liver swelling, liver damage by alcohol, nephritis, and kidney stones. After being released from the hospital, I bought cancer medicine and plasters, which, being stuck on my back bone, caused tremendous pain to me.

There were four kinds of pain like torture. At first, pinches of pain here and there; two or three hours later burning pain as if boiling water were poured onto my back causing loss of breath and uncontrollable spasms; pulling pain as if by cupping; and finally at night, piercing pain in the chest around the heart, accompanied by uneasiness. After three days the plaster on my back would also cause skin damage. The suffering almost killed me. Every day I had to take two types of anti-cancer medicine six times and four kinds of health-care pills twice, as well as medicine for treatment of kidney stones.

In such a terrible situation, I hung for a month without any progress. It was even getting worse. After a night's sleep, I felt tired and sleepy the next morning. Water accumulating in my kidneys made my abdomen drop with pain. In the mirror, I saw an ugly handful of hair popping up out of my bald head, and the word "cancer" on the label of the medicine bottles sickened me. Since my illness, I had been cut open, given a nose tube, a urine tube, and a stomach drainage tube. Four intravenous tubes were on both my hands and legs from 8 AM to midnight. I could not help but remember the two weeks of agony from the chemo-therapy and the scenes inside the hospital as other cancer patients died one by one. Earlier the sufferings in life and struggles with death had not made me cry, but that day I collapsed into tears and told my husband it was worthless to live this way.

At this critical life or death moment, a Falun Gong practitioner came to our house. She told me the following. "Now only Falun Dafa can save you. It is beyond science. As long as you overlook your concerns about life or death, you may gain something without seeking anything. In your heart very sincerely recite, 'Falun Dafa is good', and ,'Zhen-Shan-Ren (Truthfulness - Compassion - Forbearance) is good', and I will give you the precious book Zhuan Falun for you to read. When your Buddha nature comes out, it will shake the ten-directional worlds and Teacher's law-body and Gods will come to help you unconditionally." That was on January 9th, 2005. From that day on, I have walked on a path of cultivation.

Within five days I went through my first reading of Zhuan Falun. Every day I did the five sets of Falun Gong exercises once. I am a very sensitive person. Just after a few days, I felt sensations in my palms and fingers that led me to believe that Teacher had started to take care of me. One month into the cultivation practice of Falun Dafa, the following happened to me. One night past 4:00 AM, I felt as if being full of urine, but could not urinate much, only with never-ending drippings. On the next day, I even found blood in my continued drippings. Feeling scared, inside my heart I kept reciting "Falun Dafa is good" and "Zhen - Shan - Ren is good". On the third day, during urination, after much effort spent pushing, something hard and bean-sized came out with the flow. Merciful Teacher was eliminating my karma, and what a miracle to get rid of the kidney stone without taking any medicine.

I continued to study the Fa and do Falun Gong exercises daily. About three months later, I found that on two of my toes there grew coin-size blisters. I thought the benevolent Teacher was helping me to eliminate my karma and discharge the poison, and when the blister broke, water kept flowing out. I saw my feet becoming white as if soaked by the water. Every day thereafter, while doing the moving exercises or holding the wheel, my socks would get wet. Strangely enough, the peeling off of my skin would induce more water but never itch or hurt. This lasted for more than six months and then, wonderfully, every illness had disappeared without any medical treatment!

After Teacher's constant purification of my body, I am now better physically and mentally than any healthy ordinary person. Every day from a little past 5:00 AM until midnight, I am full of energy and my complexion is one of pinkish-white. Fellow practitioners frequently come by to visit me. I say my thanks to them but they remind me not to thank them but to thank Teacher, as it is Falun Dafa that saved me.

I have personally experienced the miracle of the Dafa, thanks to great, benevolent Teacher. I vow to cultivate until the end by doing well the three things requested of me by Teacher. I shall advance rigorously without slipping and elevate myself continuously until my consummation.
