Police Director of Heilongjiang Province Reaps Karmic Retribution for Evil Deeds

(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

Song Shihui is the director of Baoqunling Branch of the Baoquanling Agriculture and Reclamation District Police Station in Heilongjiang Province. He is about 50 years old.

Before 1999, Song Shihui willfully instigated the police officers to forbid Falun Gong practitioners from teaching exercises in his administrative area and the residents from learning Falun Gong.

In 1999, these deeds actually became his "achievement." He boasted about this everywhere. At the end of 2001, he was appointed to be the director of the biggest police station in Baoquanling District.

Since he assumed his current post, he has been closely following Jiang Zemin's gang in their persecution of Falun Gong. He went all out to organize the police officers to persecute Falun Gong practitioners, encouraging them to beat, intimidate, and threaten practitioners. He recklessly slandered Dafa and defamed Master Li. He hid in waiting at night to arrest practitioners and monitored them. As a result, many practitioners had their property confiscated, were arrested and detained in the middle of the night, and sent to labor camps. Many families were broken apart this way. He coordinated with the CCP committee of Baoquanling Farm to hold brainwashing sessions and to fine practitioners large sums of money. Also, he incited some work units to persecute Falun Gong practitioners.

According to preliminary statistics, in Baoquanling District at least 18 Falun Gong practitioners were sent to labor camps, 36 practitioners were detained, 1 practitioner was forced to leave home to avoid the persecution, 2 practitioners were persecuted to death, and hundreds of practitioners were subjected to some form of persecution.

Presently Song Shihui has been diagnosed with late-stage lung cancer, and is being treated in Beijing and Shanghai. He is suffering a great deal.
