Major Hospitals in Jilin City in State of Emergency Operation

A reader from Mainland China wrote to the Minghui website on April 13, saying, "On April 12, 2006, major hospitals in Jilin City held an emergency meeting. The details are yet to be investigated. Recently, patients' files in major hospitals were all sealed and any outside access to these files is forbidden. Right now, there are police guarding all of the major hospitals in Jilin City. It is similar to being under martial law, and ambulances rush into the hospitals in the evening."

This reader also revealed that the emergency meetings and unusual procedures at major hospitals in Jilin City have a direct connection with accelerating the handling of secretly held Falun Gong practitioners. These Falun Gong practitioners have been secretly held as a supply source for live organ harvesting by agents of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s Jiang and Luo group, the guards and the doctors.

According to information published by The Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China (CIPFG) (Abbreviated "Coalition to Investigate the Persecution") on April 5, based on reports from Mainland China as well as independent investigations and confirmations, the CCP regime hastily published the "Interim Regulations for Human Organ Transplant Technical Practices" after the Sujiatun Concentration Camp was exposed. However, the regulations will not take effect until three months later on July 1, 2006. It is suspected that the regime is allowing everyone involved enough time to destroy all evidence of their crimes. All investigations have confirmed that hospitals and transplant centers in the provinces or cities of Heilongjiang, Hunan, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Yunnan, Anhui, Shaanxi and Xinjiang are operating overtime to perform the batches of transplant surgeries. Hospital staff members told undercover investigators a patient should come in quickly if he or she wants organ transplants, as they can find matching organs in as short a time as one or two days. And they said the transplants would be very difficult after this batch of organ supply is gone.

On April 7, the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution established by Falun Dafa Association and the Minghui website published the "Notice on the Scope of Investigation and Evidence Collection by 'Coalition to Investigate the Persecution.'" According to the Notice, all labor camps, prisons, hospitals and related facilities where Falun Gong practitioners are abused, persecuted and held against the law are slated for investigation and collection of evidence.

On April 5, an insider revealed to the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG) that in late March, large groups of foreign patients suddenly came to the No. 1 Central Hospital in Tianjin City to receive liver and kidney transplants. All of these surgeries are carried out at night. The surgery rooms are located on the 11th and 12th floors of the Building. The monitoring room is on the sixth floor, and the patients' wards are on the fourth and seventh floors. Some patients who came for organ transplants are waiting at several hotels in Tianjin City, on the third, fourth, fifth and sixth floor of the Huaxia Hotel and the 24th and 25th floor of the Tiancai Hotel.

According to international conventions, complete personal information of a donor organ must be presented before any transplant surgery. The personal information of a donor organ include: gender, age, city of birth, address, vocation, cause of death, state of death, blood type, health condition, a written statement by the individual who voluntarily donates the organ, and notarized legal documents.

We hope more people can provide us with information and leads to help us investigate and verify these crimes and to help immediately stop this shocking atrocity.
