Our Mind Must Remain Undisturbed

(Clearwisdom.net) It has not been too long ago that the Sujiatun Concentration Camp was exposed. During this very short period, Dafa practitioners all over the world have experienced a serious test. I imagine that most Dafa practitioners when they first heard this extremely tragic information may have felt pained and then panicked or outraged, and all kinds of thoughts must have surfaced. When I first learned of this, I also experienced the complicated emotions described above, but I immediately told myself that my mind must remain undisturbed.

When I initially began the cultivation practice, I learned of the severe persecution of the practitioners in Mainland China by reading the persecution cases reported on the Minghui website. At the beginning I also felt quite shocked, as I thought that the vicious police were too inhumane and the fellow practitioners had suffered too much. I felt outraged every time I read of the persecution incidents, hoping that the evildoing police would receive karmic retribution and that the fellow practitioners would safely return home. While I continued my Fa study, I came to know, though, that resisting the persecution is correct, but Dafa disciples need to measure themselves with even higher standards. In the past I used my human mentalities to view the tribulations that the fellow practitioners had experienced, and I had taken the persecution against Dafa practitioners as something that is humans acting against humans.

Just as Master said,

"During the tribulation, you've taken the persecution of Dafa disciples by evil beings in this cosmos using bad people to be human acts;"

"What's happening is that the cosmos is going through Fa-rectification. [What is taking place in] the human world is merely how low-level beings act when gigantic cosmic bodies are being impacted by the Fa-rectification. What could human beings possibly do to gods? If there were no outside factors, would humans dare to do anything to gods? How human society unfolds is nothing but the outcome of high-level beings controlling things." ("In Fa-Rectification Your Thoughts Have to be Righteous, Not Human")

This tragedy happened because the old cosmic forces, with the excuse of testing Dafa practitioners, have manipulated the evil beings to frenziedly persecute the Dafa practitioners, as Master reminded us.

We must therefore look on this series of persecution incidents with a rational mind. Actually, with the rapid progress of the Fa rectification, all the persecution incidents that have happened are all good opportunities for us to heighten our efforts in eliminating the evildoers and clarify the truth to sentient beings. Master said,

"When people understand the facts and find out how wicked the persecution is, people will naturally know what to do. And if afterwards you ask him to lend support and do something about it, that's him choosing a future. So with those people who've been deceived in the persecution, all the more so, how could you not give them a chance? If you don't tell them the facts they will lose their futures forever." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2003 Atlanta Fa Conference")

At an even earlier time Master said,

"From the incident with the Guangming Daily until now, each Dafa disciple has played a role: some were determined to steadfastly cultivate; some wrote without reservation to the authorities for the sake of Dafa's reputation; some spoke out against the injustice done by the irresponsible report. But there are also some who have not cultivated their inner selves amidst difficult situations, but have engaged in divisive activities, making the current situation more complicated. Some even stopped cultivating, fearing that their own reputations and self-interest would be harmed. Still others circulated rumors without any concern for Dafa's stability, worsening factors that undermine the Fa."

"Dafa is of the universe and penetrates all the way down to human society. When a Fa of this magnitude is taught, how could anything be outside the arrangement? Isn't what has happened a test for Dafa disciples' xinxing? What is cultivation? When you say it's good, I say it's good, and everyone says it's good, how can you see a person's heart? Only at the critical moment can we see his heart." ("Huge Exposure" from Essentials for Further Advancement)

This Sujiatun Concentration Camp incident has perhaps made some practitioners anxious. All practitioners have experienced this test: Should we make even more solid cultivation efforts and hurry up in clarifying the truth and rescue sentient beings? Is our faith in Master and in Dafa strong enough? Are we looking inward or are we handling this with human attachments? Cultivation is a solemn thing; for each time we elevate to a higher realm, the practitioners must be able to squarely meet the criteria; regardless of whether the situation gets better or worse, practitioners should remain unaffected and continue their solid cultivation and do well the three things that Master has asked us to do. We should not be overcome by sorrow and outrage, as doing so is irrational. To reduce the incidents of persecution Dafa practitioners in Mainland China have been subjected to, all practitioners around the world need to act together and tell the people of the world the facts of the persecution and the evil nature of the Chinese Communist Party, and help all people stand up to resist the persecution.

Dafa practitioners are one entity; the persecution of some practitioners means that all practitioners are persecuted. We cannot passively endure the persecution. We have to rationally face it and let people have an opportunity for salvation. This is the original wish of Dafa practitioners!
