A Letter to President Bush from Changchun Practitioners

Dear President Bush:

For seven years, Falun Dafa practitioners in Mainland China have been irrationally persecuted: arrested, imprisoned, tortured, sexually assaulted, enslaved, and even brutally killed. This brutality extends to fetuses and the elderly in their 80's alike. This persecution has torn countless families apart. Furthermore, the organs of many practitioners have been harvested and marketed internationally, and their bodies cremated afterwards. This horrific crime has violated the international convention of humanity and is also a blatant challenge to international justice.

After the exposure of the Sujiatun Concentration Camp, where organs from Falun Dafa practitioners being harvested, the communist regime has intensified its effort to eliminate all remaining inmates and witnesses, and at the same time imprisoned Falun Dafa practitioners have been relocated within the system. Practitioners detained in the Changchun Tiebei Prison have been secretly transferred, and their whereabouts are unknown. The same thing happens in many forced labor camps. Meanwhile prisons and forced labor camps (for example, Heizuizi Female Forced Labor Camp, Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp, Jilin Prison, Siping Prison etc.) continue to torture practitioners and deny their rights of family visits. Judging from that, all imprisoned Falun Dafa practitioners are facing the danger of being killed.

In addition, the communist regime secretly ordered all national security bureaus and organizations of special agents to increase their monitoring activities towards practitioners outside of prisons or labor camps, such as tapping into phone lines, stalking, and taking pictures secretly. We are being followed by police vehicles or plainclothes policemen when we are taking a trip or visiting friends and relatives. People who maintain contact with us, including non-practitioners, have been recorded, followed, and investigated. This is a threat to all the people in China.

Mr. President, you could never imagine the life of the Chinese people in Mainland China, particularly, the life of Falun Dafa practitioners. It would be a disgrace for the human race to allow such atrocities to continue. America is a democratic country where human rights are respected. The voice for democracy and justice from America will have great influence on the international community. Thereupon, we ask you kindly,

  1. Mr. President, you cannot sit and watch, this is your God-given responsibility. We hope that you will help to stop the atrocities under the Chinese communist regime through diplomatic venues.
  2. Please call for assistance from the international community and support the investigation by "The International Committee to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong On-site in China (ICIPO)."

Mr. President, we believe that you and the American people will make a correct choice in this grave matter that will impact all of mankind.
