(Clearwisdom.net) To stop the CCP's slaughter of Falun Gong practitioners, on April 14, 2006, practitioners in Taiwan visited Mayor Ye Ju-lan of Kaohsiung City and several city council members, and urged them to pay attention to the inhuman incident. Ye said that she would learn more details of the incident. City council member Chong Hsin-chu said that he knew very well of the CCP's brutal persecution of religions. He agreed with the practitioners' request to call on council members to co-sign the petition to show their support.

Falun Gong practitioner Nie Shuwen, former pediatrician in Shanghai, invited all circles to attend the candlelight vigil to be held at 6 p.m. on April 17 to support practitioners in China. City council member Chong Hsin-chu said he would be present.

Regarding the news that CCP Foreign Ministry spokesperson Qin Gang denied the existence of Sujiatun Concentration Camp and invited an international investigation three weeks after the exposure, Chong Hsin-chu rebutted, "The CCP cannot deny it. Like the SARS epidemic, the CCP covered it up initially and only invited international organizations to investigate after patients were dead or transferred."

Ms. Nie visited the mayor and city council on April 14 to explain the urgent plight of Falun Gong practitioners imprisoned in China. She said, "Based on phone interviews by the Sound of Hope broadcasting station, the CCP is slaughtering Falun Gong practitioners on a large scale before the end of April to destroy evidence and eyewitness of living organ removal. People should stand up to help stop the CCP's killing."

On April 14, Falun Gong practitioners distributed handouts and related materials exposing the CCP's live organ removal from practitioners to the council members and city government officials.
