Grandma Is Rejuvenating

(Clearwisdom.net) My grandmother was born in 1920. She is now 86. She lives in a small town in Heshan County, Liaoning Province. When she was young, she had fairly good family circumstances. Her parents were industrious and prudent. When the communist party took over, everything changed. Their cattle and farmland, which they had improved with their own hard work, were confiscated, and her father was labeled a "landlord," which pushed them into very difficult circumstances.

Grandma's health became worse and worse from a hard life of fifty years. She suffered from gallstones, a kidney cyst, waist and leg pain as well as tracheitis.

A miracle occurred when she started practicing Falun Gong in 1997. Although illiterate, in less than one year, she could fluently read Zhuan Falun's 190,000 words. She continued to study the Fa and doing the exercises every day. Soon all of her illnesses were gone without taking any pills.

Grandma has good inborn quality. She often takes the initiative to help neighbors who have difficulties. One day, a neighbor's two year-old child swallowed a copper coin. The family got scared and did not know what to do. When my grandmother heard this, she quickly brought a hot sticky cake for the child to eat. The child soon passed the copper coin in excrement. Another neighbor lost her sight in both eyes. My grandmother frequently helps her with housework and looks after her child. Grandma also takes care of widowed senior citizens. Even those whom my grandma helped dozens of years ago continue to visit her on holidays to express their gratitude.

After practicing Falun Gong, grandma behaves according to the standard of "Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance". She considers others first and always wishes more people could benefit from Falun Gong. One day, she learned that an acquaintance suffered a stroke and could not take care of herself. In spite of the cold weather, Grandma took some Falun Gong materials to her, told her the real story of Falun Gong, and described the great changes that Falun Gong brought to her life. Finally, the neighbor understood, "Oh, Falun Gong is so good. If you did not tell me this, I would believe what the television and newspaper said is true." From then on, the neighbor recited "Falun Dafa is good," and "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance is good!" and soon her health improved.

Several days ago, an acquaintance who does not understand Falun Gong had a traffic accident. Grandma went to see him. After listening to the truth of Falun Gong from Grandma, he said, "I misunderstood Falun Gong before because I believed in the rumors spread on TV. Now I get it." After he read the truth materials, he asked Grandma to help him get a Dafa book so he could practice Falun Gong right away.

In the tide of quitting the Chinese Communist Party, Grandma thinks that she should not stay at home. She goes out telling people to stay away from the evil to therefore avoid catastrophe. She persists every day in clarifying the truth, not only in her town, but also in the countryside. She often walks dozen of miles to clarify truth and never feels exhausted. Due to Grandma's persuading, many people clearly recognize the evil party's true colors, and have withdrawn from the evil party and its related organizations.

Grandma looks like she is in her sixties. Nobody believes she is really in her 80s. Her face glows with health, her skin is delicate and fair. She feels energized every day. Sometimes young people cannot keep up with her. She insists on living by herself. She does her own cooking and clothes washing and never lets her children worry about her. This year, her black hair has grown back. Grandma is really rejuvenating!
