Practitioner Zhou Huijuan Tortured and Handicapped at 610 Office in Liaocheng City, Shandong Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhou Huijuan from Liaocheng City, Shandong Province has been illegally arrested by Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials multiple times. Each time she suffered severe persecution. In March 2005 she was arrested in Beijing. Agents from the 610 Office in Liaocheng City, Shandong Province detained her in the so-called "Educational Transforming Base," where she was brainwashed and persecuted. She was injected with an unknown substance, and became handicapped. To this day, she cannot walk, and has not regained her memory.

Zhou Huijuan, 29, was working in the Education Department of Wenxuan Middle School in the development district of Liaocheng City. She had traveled to Beijing to clarify the truth many times. She was arrested twice by CCP officials. On March 7, 2005, while she was shopping in a supermarket in Beijing, she was arrested and taken to a police station, where she was brutally force-fed, and passed out after a week of detention. To avoid responsibility for her condition, the Beijing police sent her to the 610 Office in her hometown.

The Liaocheng City 610 Office sent her to a brainwashing center, or "Educational Transforming Base," where she suffered further persecution. She refused to cooperate and started a hunger strike to resist the persecution and injustice. The police often stuck tubes into her nose to force-feed her. Every time she vomited intensely and suffered severe stomach bleeding. After enduring several rounds of brutal forced-feeding, her body was in critical condition. She vomited blood, and started to have cramps. She was sent to Dongchangfu, the People's Hospital, where she was injected with unknown substances. After the injection, her eyesight quickly deteriorated, her whole body felt weak, she became paralyzed, and started to lose her memory.

Ms. Zhou's parents went to the 610 Office to ask for her release. The head of 610 Office said viciously, "She cannot go home even if she dies here." After many requests he deceived them by saying she could go home as long as they wrote a pledge renouncing Falun Gong, and paid a deposit. But after they wrote the pledge and paid the deposit, the head of the 610 Office attempted to send her to the Liaocheng City Mental Hospital. Her parents firmly resisted and the persecution conspiracy didn't work.

Zhou Huijuan has been illegally detained in the brainwashing center for the past year. Now she has lost her memory and cannot walk. She can no longer live independently.
