Stepping out of Sadness and Sorrow and Saving Sentient Beings with Righteous Thoughts By a Falun Dafa practitioner from Heilongjiang Province (Clearwisdom.net) Since the gruesome news about the death camps in China was revealed, the whole world was shocked by this brutality that is beyond imagination. The news also shocked many people who still have hopes toward the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). It awakened Chinese people who still have a conscience. The horrific facts demonstrate the evil nature of the CCP to all human beings.
As Dafa disciples, we must treat this with righteous thoughts, not with the sadness and sorrow of humans. As a Dafa disciple in cultivation, it's normal to have certain thoughts at a certain level. However, if we remain in this state, and are not able to guide ourselves with the rationality and righteous thoughts of enlightened beings, then we will fall to the level of everyday people, as far as this problem is concerned. For everyday people, putting ourselves in others' shoes is a human virtue and could create a benevolent predestined relationship that will allow them to be saved. However, as Dafa disciples, our mission of saving sentient beings requires us not to use ordinary people's notions when dealing with things that happen in the human world, nor can we falter in our righteous thoughts and righteous actions of cultivating ourselves and saving others. If we cannot understand this from the level of Fa-rectification and saving sentient beings, we will fail to live up to those Dafa disciples who sacrificed their lives, and even fail to live up to the infinite saving grace of Master.
In the face of the sudden manifestation of the tragic truth, certain practitioners were moved by human sentiment and it is hard to avoid this. However, this should not occur in the mainstream of Dafa disciples. The efforts of protesting against the persecution and clarifying the truth should not falter; instead, it should move to a new level as the evil is brought to the light of day.
Master has pointed out to us, "Under the cruelest of persecutions, the Dafa disciples of mainland China haven't been frightened and have come through it; they have even, in fact, cultivated to the point of maturity. If you take a look back at things, in fact, though the persecution seems to have no order to it, wouldn't you agree that the changes in the situation and the different circumstances that have come about all have a purpose? Whether [something is due to] Master's wishes or the old forces' control, isn't the goal behind it the successful cultivation of Dafa disciples and the disintegration of the evil?" ("Teaching the Fa in San Francisco, 2005 (Lecture portion)") Every Dafa disciple should take the Fa as the Teacher and rectify their understanding of this problem. We must firmly and rationally fulfill the sacred duty of a Dafa particle.
As Dafa disciples in this historically critical moment, we must step out of the sadness and sorrow of everyday people, and use the death camp atrocities as a vehicle to continue truth clarification, oppose the persecution and save sentient beings with our great heart of compassion and forbearance, with great renewed diligence and vitality. Then, those who don't clearly understand the nature of the evil party and those who haven't lost their conscience can awaken to the truth.
