Urging the Chief of Police to Quit the Chinese Communist Party

(Clearwisdom.net) One day in 2003, my son was having lunch with friends
and invited me too. A chief of police in a certain city told me, "The
reason for inviting you to lunch is that we want you to give up Falun
Gong." I said, "What if I don't?" He said, "We will take you
to jail first, and then send you to a forced labor camp." He continued,
"This affects the future of your son and daughter." He took out a book
that defamed Teacher and Dafa and gave it to my son for him to use to brainwash
me later on. The chief's attitude was confident and arrogant. During the lunch, he kept repeating the anti-Falun Gong propaganda that was
shown on TV, and said, "We have to follow orders to keep our jobs." I reminded myself of Teacher's words: "No matter how difficult the
environment is, every one has to remain calm; your not reacting will overcome
all the turmoil." (provisional translation, Teaching the Fa at the
Middle U.S. Fa Conference 1999); and, "Steadfastly cultivate Dafa, the
will unflinching," ("True Nature Revealed" Essentials for
Further Advancement II), and "let go of the thought of life and
death." I thought, "We will see who gets transformed by whom." I
grabbed the opportunity and began telling him the facts about Falun Gong. I told the police chief that after I began to practice Falun Gong, Teacher
saved me by clearing up all the illnesses in my body in a short period of time.
My high blood pressure, coronary heart disease, angina pectoris, prostate
inflammation, diabetes, arteriosclerosis, and hemorrhoids were all healed. I
have not taken a single pill in seven years and have not spent a dime on
medicine. Now I have no illness whatsoever. I told him my son could be my
witness. All these things are beyond the capability of normal medicine. Only
Falun Dafa can create such miracles. It was not only my health that improved, my
past attitude toward life, which was that my sole purpose was to have fun, was
also changed. I now know how I should behave as a person. Because of this, my
family became peaceful and harmonious. I cannot express in words how grateful I
am toward my Teacher and Falun Dafa. After lunch the police chief kept me there and continued the talk. He even
invited a helper, the president of the company that managed my former company.
They took me to a sauna house and got a private room, and hired a young lady to
keep me company. I told the lady, "I am a Falun Gong practitioner. I have
to follow Dafa's requirement to be a good person." She said immediately,
"I am sorry. But it was your president that asked me over." She left
after the apology, and I went to the recreation room to watch TV, with two
policemen watching me. After the police chief finished his sauna, he invited me to have a massage
with him. I saw that the two massage beds were close to each other, providing a
good opportunity for me to tell him more about Falun Gong, so I joined him. This
way, I got to tell him face to face that Teacher is here to save people. Jiang
Zemin, based entirely on his own jealousy, ordered people to form the 610
Office and fabricate the self-immolation incident. The self-immolation was
so obviously staged: How could the police have twenty fire extinguishers ready
within a few minutes, if the event were not prepared beforehand? Ms. Liu
Chunling, one of the self-immolators, was beaten to death rather than burned to
death. The 12-year-old Liu Siying was killed, because a person with severe burns
is never wrapped in bandages [as was Liu Siying], nor can he or she be
interviewed. Also, a person cannot talk with their larynx cut [as Liu Siying was
alleged to have had done]. People who did the self-immolation in this fake
incident were either tricked or paid to participate. After being exposed through
the world media, this cruel fraud was condemned by people all around the world.
Jiang declared such a noble cultivation method as Falun Gong to be a [slanderous
term omitted] and conducted hideous persecution against it in China. They
put good people pursuing "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance"
into jail and forced labor camps, sentenced them to prison and brutally tortured
them. I talked with the police chief for over three hours. Upon our departure,
he asked me for my telephone number. At around 8:00 p.m. that night, the police chief called me and said,
"Can you please come down? A guy is bringing you something." I went
down. A Mr. Guo handed me a big book and left. I went home and found that it was
a collector's edition of Zhuan Falun, radiating in gold. I
could not stop my tears from flowing. I felt the power of Dafa. Just as Teacher
said, "Benevolence can dissolve everything in the universe. Righteous
thoughts can save all people in the world." (Hong Yin II,
provisional translation). In the horrifying atmosphere with the evil's mad
persecution, the police chief risked the danger of losing his position, his job
and even going to jail to send me the most precious gift for a practitioner. It
is because Dafa has dissolved his heart and made him choose his own path. I
turned potential danger into good fortune by telling people the facts about
Falun Gong. I fully appreciated Teacher's words: " ...you should go and
clarify the truth to him. It is a master key..." in "Teaching the Fa
at 2003 Atlanta Fa Conference." The effect of telling people the facts
about Falun Gong is indeed powerful and wonderful In the beginning of 2005, Teacher published the article, "Turning the
Wheel Towards the Human World," that rang the death knell for the evil
party. I first persuaded my family members, relatives and friends, neighbors,
and colleagues to quit the party and its affiliates. Then I thought of the
police chief. Later, I learned that he had been elected as a model worker and as
the representative for the provincial assembly. I felt it would be quite
difficult to convince such a person to quit the party. Then I thought of
Teacher's lectures. I gathered my courage and invited him to come to my house. I
was straightforward with him when he came, and told him, "My sole purpose
of inviting you here is to ask you to quit the evil party. Do not fall with
them. You can use a nickname or a fictitious name. You don't need to do anything
different after quitting the party." He agreed without hesitation and also
asked me to do the same for his wife. I never expected that it would be so easy.
I then went to see the president of the company that I mention above. He also
agreed to quit the party without hesitation. |
