(Clearwisdom.net) The traditional Songkran Festival in Thailand takes place yearly in mid-April. At scenic spots in Bangkok and Pattaya, there are many Chinese visitors every day. In order to let them know the truth, Thai Falun Gong practitioners carried sacks of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party on their backs and distributed them on buses, in restaurants, and at the beach and scenic spots. Thousands of truth-clarification materials were handed to Chinese tourists.

Promoting Falun Dafa and exercise practice in Pattaya, Thailand

On April 12-16, some Thai practitioners used the holiday to promote Falun Dafa at Pattaya. Every day from 6 a.m. to midnight, tour buses arrived with Chinese tourists. At the ferry dock, practitioners set up a banner that read, "Falun Dafa is good" and demonstrated the exercises. When the tourists disembarked, practitioners distributed the Nine Commentaries and other truth-clarification materials to them. More and more Chinese people want to learn the truth. Many times, all the materials in hand were taken away by the eager Chinese. Some people who didn't receive one followed the practitioners for a copy.

The evil is rampant these days. On the night of April 14, when practitioners were distributing materials at Pattaya Harbor, a man dressed in black robbed a woman practitioner's truth materials and hit her breast with his knee. Then he ran away. The practitioners reported the incident to the police immediately.

The next day, a few practitioners went to the municipal administration office and used this matter to clarify the truth. They told the officials what they were distributing, why they distributed them, how Falun Gong was persecuted in China, and how the Communist Party's spies have attacked people overseas. They answered many questions and cleared away the government officials' doubts. After the officer learned the truth, he said, "(We) can't allow our citizens to be attacked, especially women. In this case, the woman is a senior. She is like our own mother. We can't allow her to be attacked." The officer said that in the past they had received phone calls ordering them to arrest the practitioners who were passing out flyers. He said that they would not do it again.

On April 17, the practitioners went to the police department and city government and met the deputy mayor to explain the situation. They clarified the truth of how communist spies have attacked good people and how Falun Gong is persecuted by the Communist Party. Their visit raised awareness with good effects.

Thailand has many Chinese so it has a close relationship with the Chinese Communist Party. Many Chinese in Thailand have been poisoned by the CCP's propaganda. In order to give them a chance to learn the truth, Thai practitioners often attend Chinese parties and go to various organizations to distribute the Nine Commentaries so the Chinese people can learn the true nature of the CCP and understand the beauty of Falun Dafa.
