By a Falun Dafa Practitioner from Hebei Province

(Clearwisdom.net) There is a story that goes: Once upon a time, a person sought a master in a mountain to learn some skills. After three years, the person thought that he had learned all the skills he needed. He went to his master and said, "Master, your disciple has studied for three full years. He has learned all the skills. It is time for him to leave the mountain."

The master looked at him and asked: "Is it full?"

The disciple said: "Master, after three full years, it is time for me to go down the mountain."

The master said: "Get a bowl and fill it with rocks."

The disciple did as the master said. He brought a bowl full of rocks to the master and said: "Master, according to what you said, I have filled the bowl with rocks."

The master asked: "Is it full?"

The disciple replied: "It is full. It can't hold any more rocks."

Then, the master asked his disciple to add sand to the bowl of rocks. The disciple watched the sand quickly fill the space between the rocks in the bowl. Then, he said, "Master, this time it is really full, the bowl can no longer hold anymore."

Then, the master took a cup of water and poured the water into the bowl. Quickly, the water disappeared into the sand. The master said: "Is it full?" The disciple didn't say a word. He bent his head down and blushed.

After reading this story and looking at our cultivation, isn't it the same! As a Falun Dafa practitioner, after cultivating in Dafa for so many years and experiencing so many years of persecution, we have gone through many lessons, some of which have cost lives. Do we really understand what we should do? Do we meet the requirements of our Teacher? Do we really understand our Teacher's tremendous benevolence and painstaking effort?

When we cannot pass a test, when we are proud of our good deeds, when we fail to reach our personal goals and are angry and feel life is unfair, and when we proudly talk about the glorious experiences of the Fa-rectification, have we paused to consider: what are the higher requirements for "Dafa Disciples" during the Fa-rectification period? Have we eliminated all the human mentalities that we should remove? Have we done the things we should have done to save the sentient beings? Isn't complacency also a lack of diligence? Do we always show that the Fa comes first? Are we falling short in doing the three things well? This inadequacy can only be seen when we continuously study the Fa and try to experience it with our heart.

Falun Dafa disciples are meant to cultivate until Consummation, and we should continuously meet higher requirements. We should follow our Teacher's requirements solidly and do the three things well, walk on the path that Teacher arranged for us, and meet the standards that our Teacher requires of us. Only then can we truly become

"Fa-rectification Dafa Disciples."
