The Crimes in the Concentration Camps Pose Serious Question for All Chinese People

(Clearwisdom.net) When speaking of concentration camp massacres, many Chinese may think these incidents were far away from them, and they have nothing to do with them. But sadly, the same thing is happening in 21st century's China. The people slaughtered are China's own citizens, and people are being killed in the most atrocious manner.

In 1971, during an official visit to Poland, German Chancellor Willy Brandt knelt down in front of the Warsaw War Memorial that commemorates the Polish people killed by the Nazis in World War II. In his gesture, Mr. Brandt asked for forgiveness from the Polish people for the murders his countrymen had committed. He later explained to an Italian journalist that his kneeling down "was not only for the Poles, but it is first for my own people." Brandt's gesture meant that the massacre of the Polish people in Nazi concentration camps not only was a crime against Poland, but also a shame for the German nation.

On October 1, 2000, the French news agency Agence France Presse reported that China had built two new concentration camps dedicated to detaining Falun Gong practitioners: one in the northeast, the other in the northwest, and that each one could hold as many as 50,000 practitioners. Three weeks ago a veteran army doctor from Shenyang said he knows of 36 such concentration camps in China. The largest one holds 120,000 detainees, mostly Falun Gong practitioners and some serious felons.

In these concentration camps, people won't see gas chambers; instead, organs are harvested from living people on a large-scale to make huge profit. Following that, the officials cremate the bodies, eliminating all physical evidence.

This is not individual criminal activity, it is organized crime, run directly by the ruling regime! It is a direct consequence of the CCP's persecution policy towards Falun Gong practitioners: "physical elimination; all deaths counted as suicide." This has taken place not only in the Sujiatun District, but also in many other places. Current investigations reveal that hospitals in 22 provinces have harvested organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. More investigative details are expected in the future.

Incidentally, three weeks after witnesses revealed the existence of the Sujiatun Concentration Camp, the CCP regime transferred all living and physical evidence. Then they pretentiously invited representatives from the international community for an investigation. The Falun Dafa Association and Minghui/Clearwisdom Website then jointly initiated plans for a delegation to investigate the facts. The representatives quickly went to the Chinese embassies and consulates to apply for visas, but the CCP immediately denied all their applications in a conditioned reflex manner. This has given the international community another opportunity to see for themselves the insincerity of the CCP's "invitation" for investigation.

The occurrence and the continuous existence of live organ harvesting at the concentration camps is a great shame for every Chinese citizen. It is indeed modern China's biggest national shame. It not only hurts Falun Gong, but hurts all Chinese people! It damages human moral values, values that are vital to the very existence of the entire Chinese nation. When a regime acts so brutally toward its own people, when medical doctors are trained to become butchers who would perform such horrific acts on their own brothers and sisters, this nation is branded as inferior, ugly and brutal and is not far from total destruction. If these crimes are not stopped, the nation has no place in the world nor will it have any dignity left to explain itself to future generations.

Without question, the CCP's crimes of harvesting organs in concentration camps will be forever nailed on the pillar of shame.

For any nation, a concentration camp detaining foreigners is considered a shame for that nation. Now, a massacre against her own people has happened in China. What a shame it is? Those leaders who initiated and/or condoned such crimes, how can they face the nation and explain their actions to the people?

Each of us, as individual Chinese citizens should ask ourselves the following questions: do we have to be part of this evil doing? Can we remain aloof when our fellow countrymen are being slaughtered? What kind of responsibility do I share in this crime? How would I pay back my silence or participation in this crime? How could I whitewash this unbelievable shame during my historic era?

Every regime official, every member of the CCP, every family member of Falun Gong practitioners, every Chinese citizens who still has some conscience left, please take note: before this tragedy is over, we will all inevitably face such harsh questions.
