Macau: Practitioners Commemorate April 25 Appeal

(Clearwisdom.net) On April 25, 1999, over 10,000 practitioners went to appeal to the National Appeals Office outside the central government compound in Zhongnanhai. They rationally and peacefully explained to the central government leaders about the facts of Falun Gong and the incident of practitioners being beaten and arrested by local police in Tianjin, a city 66 miles away. This is the well known "4.25 incident at Zhongnanhai" to the world. This incident was resolved by the former Prime Minister Zhu Rongji. But out of jealousy, Jiang Zemin and the evil Chinese Communist Party collaborated and initiated the bloody persecution against Falun Gong in July 1999. Ever since then, practitioners took the approach of a peaceful effort to resist the persecution, which has lasted for seven years.

To commemorate the 4.25 appeal, to expose the wicked nature of the Chinese Communist regime, and to stop the crime of the persecution, practitioners of Macau came twice in the early morning to the park across from the Chinese Liaison Office, sent forth righteous thoughts and protested the regime's persecution of practitioners.

Around 1 p.m., some practitioners went to the Business Hall downtown and distributed balloons written with the words "Falun Dafa is Good" "The World Needs 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" to the public, raising awareness about the beauty of Falun Dafa.
