(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Zhong Guichun used to be one of the heads in the Political Security Office in the Beijing Police Department, a Class II Police Supervisor. [Editor's note: Beijing Police Department has many Sections, each of which has many Offices. Office is at the lowest level in the hierarchy. Class II Police Supervisor is close to Sergeant in New Zealand and Corporal in the U.S.] He started learning Falun Gong from Mr. Li Hongzhi in 1990. Due to his practice and support of Falun Gong, he was dismissed from his job between the end of 1993 and the beginning of 1994, thus becoming the first victim of persecution who worked inside the police system as a Falun Dafa practitioner. Mr. Zhong Guichun's name was very familiar to those in China, especially in Beijing. Mr. Zhong had to find another job with the China Chemical Products Export and Import Corporation. After July 20, 1999, Jiang Zemin's regime started the persecution of Falun Gong. He was under close monitoring and lost his freedom until he came to New Zealand in 2003. On April 25, 2006, volunteers from the Minghui website and the Minghui Radio Station interviewed Mr. Zhong Guichun from New York.

Reporter: You left China in 2003. The persecution of Falun Gong was at its peak between 2000 and 2003. Do you know anything about the labor camp, prison and police system in China at the time?

Zhong: I was under watch by people at my workplace after the persecution started in 1999. After they started monitoring me, they strictly isolated me. They didn't allow me to have contact with any other Dafa practitioners, not a single one. The CCP's Extra Large Enterprise's Working Committee decided that Wang Xiangwu, Liu Zhan and me were the three most important people at the SinoChem Corporation. They put us under individual watch. Sometimes six and sometimes as many as a dozen people were sent to watch me, sent by the company. These people came from the Disciplinary Inspection Committee, the Supervision Committee, the Security Office, the Human Resources Department, the Workers' Union, the Party Committee and Party office, as well as the General Manager's Office. A large group of people fixed their eyes on me.

When I was in Beijing, they sent me to a different place each week, including hotels and vacation spots. When the persecution was at its peak (from what I learned online), they sent me to the south, including Jiangsu Province and Zhejiang Province. They made me leave Beijing. It wasn't until later that I learned that the persecution was at its most severe.

Because I was under watch at that time, I didn't know anything about the persecution of Dafa practitioners, including the situation with labor camps. But I could tell from the behavior of my police officer friends that it was very serious. They were really worried about me, and the looks on their faces and in their eyes showed concern. They asked me not to leave home and other things, and they didn't want me to do Dafa things. That's what they told me. They looked very frightened. I didn't know why, but they simply looked terrified, but they dared not to tell me what was really going on, what was really happening.

After the existence of the Sujiatun Concentration Camp was exposed, I think I can understand it now. Under those circumstances, a few police officers during the peak of the persecution between 2001 and 2003 knew about the harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners' organs, and burning the bodies and destroying the evidences. Why were they scared? Under the CCP, anyone who is labeled a "counterrevolutionary" or "class enemy" would no longer be seen as human, and no law would therefore apply in dealing with these people. The CCP would slaughter these people like animals, because this is what the CCP has historically always done. It can deal with you any way it wishes if you are a "counterrevolutionary" in the CCP's eyes.

Reporter: We also heard that they were picking some young and healthy Falun Gong practitioners to use as sources of organs. When a patient required a certain organ, they would immediately harvest the Falun Gong practitioner's organs including kidneys, heart, corneas and other body parts and transplant them for the patient. We heard that the labor camps, prisons, the 610 Office had formed a systematic operation and the availability of live organs can be coordinated throughout the country. What do you think about this inside information?

Zhong: I believe it's true. I worked within the public security system so I can say that they are capable of such things. In other words, the labor camps, the police system and hospitals could very well have colluded in harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. Then the work units that participate in the organ harvest for sure would include military hospitals, armed police hospitals, public security hospitals and other major hospitals. They were completely driven by economic interest; it's money at work; they were completely going after the money. Under the CCP's rule, many, many people in China think about nothing but money. Morals, conscience, human nature are nothing to them. Money changed them into what they are now; it doesn't surprise me at all.

Reporter: What role do you think Jiang Zemin and Luo Gan played in the organ harvesting and the cover-up of evidence?

Zhong: Jiang Zemin and Luo Gan were the ones that made the decisions. They hated Falun Gong so much, so they wanted nothing but to eradiate Falun Gong. Therefore, no measure is too excessive or cruel for them, and they are free to do whatever they see fit. The [hospitals, labor camps and prisons] could do whatever they wanted with Falun Gong practitioners, including cutting out their organs and cremating their bodies, because Jiang Zemin and Luo Gan issued those kinds of orders. Without their orders, the local government would never dare to do such a thing; they really wouldn't dare. So, the biggest criminals are Jiang Zemin and Luo Gan.

Reporter: To your knowledge, do Jiang Zemin and Luo Gan hold grudges against Falun Gong due to personal matters?

Zhong: It's not because they have personal problems with Falun Gong. The reason for the persecution is really ridiculous. In order to keep its high status within the government, the Politics and Security Bureau created and directed the persecution of Falun Gong. All of the "evidence" was given to the CCP central committee by Luo Gan, because he wanted to please Jiang Zemin and enter the Politburo. Out of envy and narrow-mindedness, Jiang Zemin always feared losing power, so this unprecedented and most brutal persecution took form. This sounds laughable, but it's true.

I think the CCP is capable of carrying out what happened at the labor camps at the time. There are only things the CCP could not think of, but there is nothing it wouldn't do to achieve its goal. They are capable of all villainous methods, base, vulgar and cruel schemes. If you look for evidence, the CCP would destroy the evidence in order to cover up the facts. Although it's destroying evidence, it still shouldn't be too difficult to find it because the persecution is so wide-ranging. The people who were killed in the persecution are not one or two that can be covered up. It's hard to estimate the number of murdered Falun Gong practitioners, because the number is staggering and covers a large geographic area. So, it's really difficult to hide the evidence and cover up the truth. The CCP is most afraid of being exposed right now, and it is their fatal weakness.

Reporter: Recently, the CCP organized a systematic organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners to sell them for profit, followed by cremation of their bodies to destroy evidence. After this crime surfaced, the Falun Dafa Association and the Minghui website founded a Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (CIPFG). Can you share your view on it?

Zhong: After the exposure of the secret Sujiatun Concentration Camp, I have also been thinking about how to expose the facts. I think it's truly necessary for the Falun Dafa Association and the Minghui website to establish the CIPFG. We should intensify the investigation because only then can we obtain much more evidence and expose the CCP's massacre of Falun Gong practitioners more completely and expose their bloody crimes before the whole world.

I also remembered witnesses who came forward to verify these crimes. I remember Mr. Chen Yonglin, a former Chinese consulate official who defected; Mr. Hao Fengjun, a former "610 Office" agent from the Tianjin City Police Department who stepped forward to publicly expose the crimes of the CCP and the persecutors in oppressing Falun Gong. There were also two other witnesses who recently came out in public to testify on the organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. Mr. Gao Zhisheng, a lawyer in Mainland China, risked his life to appeal for Falun Gong. He said he would also participate in the investigation of Chinese labor camps and prisons to find out about their slaughter of Falun Gong practitioners. They are magnificent and people will remember them.
