Strong Righteous Thoughts Make Two Copy Machines Work

(Clearwisdom.net) I have two copiers. Both of them were in bad condition and could only print a few things from time to time. The first one stopped working even though it had been fixed several times, and the second one started to malfunction as well. When I went to get it repaired, the repairman returned it since he couldn't find anything wrong.

It then occurred to me that the reason it was broken was not because of any mechanical error, but because of interference due to loopholes in my cultivation: I was treating it as a machine doing everyday person's work. I thought that I should take a day off "work" and concentrate on studying the Fa and sending forth righteous thoughts. On the hour every hour, I sent forth righteous thoughts and studied the Fa while also asking Teacher to give me more power to eliminate all the factors that interfered me and the copiers, as well as to get rid of my attachment to work. I did this until 3 in the afternoon. A test run of the machines showed improvement, although the first machine did have a few minor problems. I still felt that it wasn't good enough, but then I realized thinking negatively was not right. It must be good that the machine was running at all, and I definitely had power to clear away interference. I stopped the machine and continued to read Zhuan Falun. In Chapter Three, Teacher said:

"There is another type of person. Someone was told in the past that he had spirit or animal possession. He felt that way as well. However, upon having it removed for him, his mind still worries about it. He always thinks that the condition still exists. He still thinks that it is there, and this is already an attachment called suspicion. As time passes, this person may bring it to himself again. One should give up this attachment, as this spirit or animal possession no longer exists."

I realized that not trusting something is an attachment that also needs to be given up.

The two copy machines worked just fine after I strengthened my righteous thoughts. On the second day when some small glitch showed up, I further bolstered my righteous thoughts. Something special then happened to the copy machines: green fluid leaked out of the cracks in the outside covers of the copiers. Non-ink copiers should not have any fluids in them, especially fluid that could leak out. I realized that it was the evil interfering with the copier being eliminated.

Since that day, my two copiers have worked perfectly. Studying the Fa, sending forth righteous thoughts, and having strong righteous thoughts are crucial in our cultivation practice. This is just my personal understanding. Please point out any misunderstandings.
