CCP's Agents Usher Away Han Qide, Member of People's Congress Standing Committee, after He Answers Questions on Sujiatun at Yale University

(Clearwisdom.net) Han Qide, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee for the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s People's Congress, gave a speech in Yale University on March 24 and said that if the Sujiatun incident is real, those involved should be brought to justice immediately. After the speech, a few "bodyguards" immediately came forward and escorted him to leave the conference hall. Mr. Han was not able to attend the reception arranged outside the conference hall.

Mr. Han, also Director of the Health Science Center in Beijing University, visited Yale University on March 24 and gave a speech entitled "China's Medical System Reform". One audience member asked, "International media has disclosed that bodily organs are being harvested from living Falun Gong practitioners in Sujiatun Concentration Camp in Shenyang. I hope that Director Han can investigate this matter." Mr. Han was surprised upon hearing this and said that if this is true, those involved should be punished immediately.

On March 23, the CCP's General Consul in Sydney Qiu Shaofeng and spokesperson of the CCP's Embassy in Washington denied the existence of the Sujiatun atrocities when asked about it.

Mr. Han's answer clearly did not sit with CCP officials. At the end of his speech, a few "bodyguards" immediately escorted him out of the hall. A practitioner wished to hand over evidence of the Sujiatun Concentration Camp to Mr. Han but was turned away by the "bodyguards". The practitioner asked, "Dr. Han expressed a desire to know what is happening with Sujiatun. Why are you stopping me?"

Mr. Han was not able to attend the reception outside the hall.
