Seize the Opportunity and Clarify the Truth with More Impact

(Clearwisdom.net) The incident on the south lawn of the White House has shocked society. It has also stirred up many discussions among practitioners. Several articles by practitioners have explored the cultivation issues involved. At the same time, many practitioners have also realized that this incident has become a hot topic for the media, as people are asking a lot of questions. This has created a good opportunity and is a turning point, as people are more willing to listen to the truth.

We Must Have a Sense of Urgency

Our responsibility to expose the evil, clarify the truth and save sentient beings is significant and demanding. We must seize the moment and make good use of this opportunity, because it doesn't happen every day. When an opportunity is missed, it doesn't happen again.

For instance, after the revelation of organ removal from live Falun Gong practitioners at the secret concentration camp in Sujiatun, many practitioners focused their attention on finding out whether it was true or not. Our responses and reactions were slow, and we missed the best moment to clarify the truth. Such problems also occurred after the publication of Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. Some practitioners were confused, and were stuck on the question of "whether we were getting political."

This time we must have a sense of urgency. We must seize the opportunity and clarify the truth to expose the persecution comprehensively. Of course, we aren't clarifying the truth to enhance the reputation of any particular practitioner. Instead, people should be made aware and pay attention to the persecution. We should use this opportunity to reveal the CCP's crime of removing organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, and ask people from all walks of life to support the "Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China" (CIPFG), and to investigate all labor camps, prisons, secret concentration camps and associated facilities in China which imprison Falun Gong practitioners.

One key point is that we must use this opportunity to turn people's focus from a particular person or event to the persecution of Falun Gong by the CCP, and we shouldn't rely on ordinary people. This requires that every practitioner be clear on the Fa, and participate voluntarily and actively.

We Must do it Rationally and with Wisdom

In the course of clarifying the truth there are always cultivation factors to help us eliminate our human attachments and notions. If we do things with sentimentality we won't be able to do things well, and we could easily create negative effects. Let's remember Teacher's instructions,

"Validate the Fa with rationality, clarify the truth with wisdom, spread the Fa and save people with mercy--this is establishing the mighty virtue of an Enlightened Being." ("Rationality" from Essentials for Further Advancement II)
