Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese cultures, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they too be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

On March 19, 2006, Chen Hong, chief of the National Security Department from Meishan City, Sichuan Province, was driving an official car on a personal trip to Emeishan City for sight seeing. In his car were three other people including Yang Xiaojiang, deputy chief of the Leshan City Police Department. During the trip their car collided with a large truck. Yang Xiaojiang was decapitated and he died on the spot. The rest of the three were seriously injured. Chen Hong broke several bones in the car accident.

Yang Xiaojiang, 40, deputy chief of the Leshan City Police Department, was one of the chiefly responsible persecutors of Falun Dafa practitioners in Leshan City. In the last year many truth-clarification materials production sites were destroyed and many practitioners were illegally arrested and persecuted by Yang and Chen. Practitioners Li Ronglai, Wei Lang, Lü Dongrong and others were given heavy prison sentences. Recently, practitioner Chen Anjun was beaten so badly by policemen in the Leshan City Detention Center that his cervical vertebra was broken. His life was thus endangered.

Since the persecution began on July 20, 1999, there have been many practitioners in Leshan City and Emeishan City who were persecuted until they died. Yang Xiaojiang was one of the masterminds behind these crimes and other persecution of practitioners.

Chen Hong, in his 40s, had assumed the role of chief of the National Security Department in Meishan City in 1997. After July 20, 1999, he personally participated in the Jiang regime's campaign to persecute Falun Gong. He was one of the main murderers of practitioners in Meishan City. Chen and Yang had also used the official car for personal purposes two to three years prior. They went sight seeing with a call-girl and the car fell into a water canal. The woman drowned. This time Chen once again received karmic retribution.

Yang and Chen cruelly persecuted Falun Dafa practitioners. Their crimes are unpardonable.
