(Clearwisdom.net) On April 3, 2006, on the campus of the University of Nevada, Falun Gong practitioners exposed the Chinese Communist regime's atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners and selling them. They also collected signatures to urge the U.S. administration to question the CCP authorities on this matter when meeting with Hu this month and to make an effort to stop the CCP's barbaric acts.

Banners and oil paintings exposing the torture methods the CCP has employed to persecute Falun Gong practitioners formed a stark contrast with the peaceful, harmonious campus. The Tiger Bench, piercing bamboo sticks into fingers, force-feeding, being hung up, being locked up in cages, and being stomped by many people were some of the tortures shown.

Many people were shocked that all of this was happening today in modern society and found it hard to believe that such atrocities are still happening. One student said that he read about this on the Internet and gladly signed the petition after expressing his outrage. Other students and teachers who passed by also signed the petition and offered us their encouragement.

One student went to the practitioners after his class was over and arrived two minutes before the practitioners left. Many people took truth-clarification materials, and more than 1,000 copies were gone in a matter of hours.

Since the CCP started the persecution of Falun Gong in 1999, Falun Gong practitioners in Las Vegas have come to the University of Nevada several times to clarify the truth, collect signatures and teach the exercises. One philosophy professor invited practitioners several times to his class to talk about Falun Gong. As a result, a number of students have gained a good understanding of Falun Gong and the persecution.
