What Lies Behind the "Live Organ Advertisement" from the Shenyang Organ Transplant Center?

(Clearwisdom.net) After the horrors - harvesting of organs from Falun Gong practitioners that were still alive - at Sujiatun in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province were exposed, the question, "Is there really an underground organ market in the Shenyang area?" has been in peoples mind, and the focal point of all discussions.

The website of the China International Transplant Network Assistance Center (CITNAC), set up by the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University in Shenyang City (www.zoukiishoku.com), clearly shows that an organ bank with live subjects is located in that area.

The multi-language website of CITNAC displays on-line "Questions and Answers:"

Q: Is there a possibility if being infected with other diseases such as HIV or hepatitis after the kidney transplant?

A: It is not necessary to worry about that. The biggest problem with a kidney transplantation is the tissue match. Before the living kidney transplantation, we will examine the donors renal function and leukocyte in order to assure the safety of the kidney. So it is more safe and reliable here than in other countries, where the organ is not from a living donor.

Q: After accepting the organ transplant overseas, can the patient receive post-operative treatment in his native hospital?

A: The issue is not whether it is safe to be treated in one's homeland after the operation, but whether there is a hospital center that has experienced staff to treat a patient after the organ transplant. There are only a very few hospitals with experienced staff to treat a patient who had undergone an organ transplant from a dead donor, and barely none where the liver came from a live donor. However if you can find a hospital that can do the operation, you will be able to receive satisfactory post-operative treatment. The patient's insurance company pays the cost of post-operative care.

Q: Even if the transplant is successful, the recipient of the kidney will live for no more than two to three years. Is this correct?

A: We had been asked such questions many times. Please, be assured that this time limit refers to kidney transplants where the organ came from a brain-dead person. This transplant was performed in Japan. The kidney transplant performed in China come from a live donor. The result is completely different from what you heard at Japanese hospitals or dialysis centers. Since China began live organ transplants twenty years ago, doctors here have performed 5,000 kidney transplants.

The website stresses consistently that a "live kidney transplant" is performed at the Transplant Center.

Such remarks will not mean much to people who are unfamiliar with organ transplants. But what really lies behind these words are the most brutal and depraved horrors, that will send cold shivers down one's spine.

Today, there are three sources of organs used in transplants - no heart-beat corpses, brain-dead corpses and live bodies. China publicly announced that its organ donors are death-row prisoners. These are not "no-heart-beat corpses." The live organ donors are mainly relatives of the patient. In the west, organs from relatives account for a fairly large percentage (in the United States, it accounts for nearly 50 percent). However, organs from relatives account for only around 1 percent in China.

The organs for "live kidney transplants" the CITNAC refers to are clearly not donated by relatives, since the recipients are foreigners and the donors are Chinese. It is quite obvious that an underground channel of live organs exists.

Website explanation on organ providers:

If you send your personal health information to this center by e-mail or fax and agree to certain physical examinations in Shenyang, so a hospital in China can find a suitable donor, it may take only one month to receive a liver transplant. The maximum waiting period is two months. As for kidney transplants, it may take one week to find a suitable donor, with a maximum waiting period of one month. Although the procedure for donor selection is very rigorous, the transplant operation will be terminated if the doctor discovers that there is something wrong with the donor's organ. If this happens, the patient will have the option of another organ donor and the operation will performed within one week.

From these facts we can infer that there is a group of live human beings whose organs can be harvested at any time. Only because of such a situation can the center satisfy the need for live organs, make the tissue match within a very short time and offer another organ donor immediately if the first one fails. It appears quite certain that there is an illegal live organ market between concentration camps and the hospitals in the Shenyang area. These hospitals that carry out organ transplants have designated special personnel to get the organs from the illegal organ market.

Recently, Chinese Communist Party (CCP) insiders disclosed that the group from which organs are harvested is comprised of Falun Gong practitioners detained in concentration camps. The CCP treats the practitioners as the Number One enemy, considers the death of the practitioners as nothing and sees their life as being worth nothing.
