May 13--A Most Important Day for People to Celebrate By a Falun Dafa practitioner in North America
(Clearwisdom.net) On May 13, 1992, a silent thunder shook the
world--Master started spreading Falun Dafa openly to people. Fourteen years have passed like the wave of a hand, and in this time
countless sentient beings' Buddha natures have been awakened, and a hundred
million people have changed their destinies. In these short 14 years, Falun Dafa
has spread all over China and throughout the world and has brought the Fa
principles to the human race. Justice is reigning again in the human world, and
the truth is lighting the world once again. In May 14 years ago, the re-birth of
the universe began, and the human race no longer seems hopeless. Walking through wind and frost, snow and rain, we are welcoming a new May,
where everything is being resurrected and renewed. This is what celebrating
World Falun Dafa Day means for cultivators as well as the whole human race. Speaking from another perspective, no one, including the beings from the old
cosmos, can escape the disasters when the cosmos is going through its
degeneration and destruction period, no matter how high a god is. Therefore, if
Master did not come to do Fa-rectification, life in the entire cosmos would not
exist or have a future, because everything would disintegrate following the
cosmos's law of "formation, stasis, degeneration and destruction." Master decided to rectify the Fa and save all sentient beings, including
Buddhas, Daos and Gods. Master's one thought has enabled all lives in the old
cosmos (including us) and the cosmos itself to have the hope of survival. This
one thought gave birth to a new cosmos that does not have any relation to the
old cosmos. Master came with the most original and harmonious great law of the universe. "This Fa is the foundation of all lives." "The Fa-rectification is rectifying all beings in the cosmos and doing
everything possible to save the original things that were left here by
gods." ("Teaching the Fa in the
City of Los Angeles") Thus, we can cultivate and have glory today because we are together with
Master and the Fa-rectification. May 13 is very special to Fa-rectification
period Dafa disciples. As beings from the old cosmos, we are lucky to be Dafa
disciples and to follow Master during Fa-rectification. This incomparable glory
makes all other gods in the old cosmos who are not so lucky admire us and even
envy us. Under such circumstances, how can we not praise Master and Falun Dafa's
boundless salvation and Buddha's infinite grace with the greatest respect and
humblest attitude? At the same time, we should calmly look inside and ask
ourselves if we genuinely respect Master and the Fa. For instance, some
practitioners, especially in North America, have special predestined
relationships and fortunately can see Master often. After a while some have
grown attached to telling other practitioners in small groups what Master taught
and about how important different projects were. Sometimes they spread
"Master's words" they heard from others and to which they had
unintentionally added personal understandings. Comparing this with Master's
teachings in Essentials for Further Advancement and many lectures, these
behaviors may be as serious as sinning in the eyes of gods. Some practitioners are not diligent, using the excuse that we are among
humans and cannot see with our third eyes. But we cannot forget simply because
we are cultivating in the maze. We must firmly believe in Master and Falun Dafa.
As May 13 approaches, let us ask ourselves if we truly believe in Master and
Falun Dafa solidly at every moment. May 13 has become the most important celebration in the cosmos as sentient
beings are all celebrating together in heaven. Layer upon layer of the universes
are praising Master and Falun Dafa with the most sacred respect. The moment gods
in the cosmos praise Master's salvation and mercy to all beings in the cosmos is
an eternal moment. May 13 is also a sunny, happy spring day on Earth and is a
holy moment to praise Master and Falun Dafa. It will be the biggest celebration
in the future human world. Master commented on an article entitled "Singing the Praises of Master
and Dafa." The article said, "When the all-new cosmos is completely
displayed, the sentient beings within will completely be rid of the state of
being deceived by the old forces, witnessing Master's grand wish and the
Buddha's boundless grace. The beings, full of infinite admiration and
inexpressible gratitude, will give the highest honor completely to the Revered
Master, Lord Buddha and Shifu, who has granted all of this that is brand new,
who we cannot define or sing the praises of even with our language of the
all-new cosmos." Master commented, "The ideas in this article are laid out well, and the author has a
very clear understanding of Master's Fa-rectification and Dafa disciples'
validation of the Fa. If all Dafa disciples can be as rational and clearheaded
as this, and have righteous thoughts and righteous actions in validating the
Fa, then there will be no persecution, and there will be no gaps for the evil
to exploit." Hence, praising Master and Falun Dafa is included in our righteous thoughts
to Master's Fa-rectification and disciples' validating the Fa. At the same time,
praising Master and Falun Dafa has a direct relationship to walking our path
straight and ending the persecution. How important it is! We know that the heavenly images are reflected from the forms on earth.
Master has taught us a Fa-principle that the heavenly climate without human
movement on earth would not be formed successfully. Based on this, I suggest
that more practitioners praise Master and Falun Dafa with our pure hearts in
writing, and post them on the Clearwisdom website or read them at our
celebrations all over the world. Of course, if ordinary people can write
something to praise Master and Falun Dafa, that is even better, because that
