(Clearwisdom.net) Taiwan Daily reported on May 7, 2006, that Falun
Gong practitioners from Chiayi area held a candlelight vigil in Chung-Cheng
Park, Chiayi City the previous night to commemorate those practitioners who were
tortured to death in the persecution. They also commemorated those practitioners
who died from the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) live organ removal, and called
for all the countries, government, media and organizations of conscience of the
world to break the silence and step forward courageously to stop the killing.
Practitioner Professor Ai Chang-Rui of National Chung Cheng University
pointed out that recently there was the shocking news of body organ harvesting
from live practitioners in Chinese forced labor camps. Their remaining bodies
were cremated to destroy the evidence. The crime involved local police (and
armed police) hospitals, which collaborated with forced labor camp authorities
and body organ retailers.
Professor Ai addressed that there were numerous missing practitioners who
were secretly arrested in China. There were uncountable practitioners persecuted
to death. He wishes that the international community will establish an
international investigation committee as early as possible.
