Italy: Exposing the Chinese Communist Party's Savage Acts to the Italian People

(Clearwisdom.net) During the years since the beginning of the persecution in 1999, Falun Gong practitioners in northern Italy have continuously spent weekends exposing the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP's) savage acts in such big cities as Milan to wake up people's conscience. Recently, practitioners decided to hold activities to clarify the truth in Bergamo and Monza.

On April 22, 2006, the practitioners came to Monza. Monza has the largest public park and formula race track in Europe. During the activity held in the city center, an Italian businessman asked a lot of questions about the persecution of Falun Gong. He requested a lot of materials exposing the truth for his Chinese clients. The practitioners also clarified the facts to some Chinese tourists and told them that in Italy, people can freely practice Falun Gong. The practitioners hoped that they would rationally think over the situation.

On May 1, practitioners came to the city of Bergamo and received attention from a lot of people. Bergamo is known for the old castle at the highest point of the city and its airport. When practitioners applied to the department in charge for a permit to hold the activity at this site, the official faxed the practitioners the application form at once. One week later, when a practitioner went to get the permit, the responsible officers were very hospitable and told the practitioners that they saw on TV a Falun Gong practitioner calling out to Hu Jintao and Bush at the White House. They expressed support and showed admiration. The official also asked practitioners to provide them their protest schedule for the whole year, in order to guarantee the provision of the venue as needed.

During the event, people read the exhibition board and information carefully. They showed special attention to the banner reading, "Justice is Manifest, Jiang Zemin on Trial," as well as information about the CCP's stealing of organs from Falun Gong practitioners at concentration camps.
