Washington State, USA: "Apple City" Happily Welcomes Falun Dafa (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Wenatchee, located in central Washington State enjoys a reputation as "Apple City" for abounding in apples. At the 2004 Seattle Ocean Festival, Falun Gong practitioners clarified the truth about Falun Dafa to a city councilor. The councilor sincerely invited practitioners to participate in the city's Apple Blossom Parade. On May 6, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners brought the beauty of Falun Dafa to this "Apply City."

There were about 100,000 spectators, young and old, and of different nationalities, lining the streets to watch the parade. Along the parade route people warmly applauded and cheered for the Falun Gong contingent as it made its first appearance in the city. A local TV station broadcast the entire parade live and rebroadcast the event the following day. Falun Dafa entered the hearts of more people in a new city.
