Mr. Cao Baoyu, a practitioner from Langfang City, is in custody at the Internal Cardiac Section of North Avenue Hospital, Guangyang District, Langfang City, along with Mr. Yang Jianpo in the same emergency room. After the medical check-up, Mr. Cao Baoyu was diagnosed with heart failure. He also had a relapse of "head pus" that he had before cultivation. Now his neck is completely rotten and he has an ulcer, his face has dropsy, and he is dying. However, authorities will still not release him.

Ms. Nie Chunling, Mr. Yang Jianpo's wife, is also suffering physically. She can hardly walk. In order to prevent Mr. Yang Jiangpo and Mr. Cao Baoyu from beinig transferred elsewhere, Mr. Yang Jianpo's family stays at the hospital even at night.

Mr. Wei Jianyu from Fujian Province was illegally arrested and taken to the Detention Center by the Shaowu City National Security Team on February 20, 2006. His computers and over 10,000 yuan were confiscated. Mr. Wei Jianyu went on hunger strike to protest against the persecution. Many times he was sent to the city hospital that adopted forceful measures against him. At the beginning of March, the police had to allow him bail under Mr. Wei Jianyu's righteous thoughts. In the evening on April 10, 2006, however, the Shaowu City National Security Team once again arrested Mr. Wei Jianyu from his home, and they also searched his home.

In the evening on January 8, 2006, several practitioners from A'cheng City, Heilongjiang Province, were arrested and held for over 100 days after they went to Yongyuan Town to give out truth-clarifying materials. The A'cheng City authorities gave a trial date to Ms. Qu Yonghua, Mr. Wang Jiang, Ms. Li Wanyue, Mr. Yang Gongxi, Mr. Sun Shuangrong, Ms. Zhao Shijun, and a driver named Mr. Fu Wenchang on April 18, 2006.

Ms. Yuan Shufang, a practitioner from Lushuihe, Baishan City, Jilin Province, has been tortured for one and a half years at the Heizuizi Women's Labor Camp in Changchun City. Her term of imprisonment ended on April 15, 2006. When her family went to the labor camp to see her, guard Wang Zhufeng of the No. 4 Team told them the labor camp would not release her, because her sentence had been extended.

Since Ms. Yuan Shufang will not give up her belief, she has been tortured. And because Ms. Yuan wrote letters to expose the crimes committed by the labor camp, the labor camp authorities took revenge on her and extended her prison term.

On March 31, 2006, the Fularji District Court of Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, intended to try 16 practitioners who were arrested for hanging Dafa truth-clarification banners one and a half years ago. The court did not notify their families. The court has submitted their cases to the Heilongjiang Provincial Court that is preparing to prosecute them.

These 16 practitioners are: Ms. Yang Shujun, Ms. Wang Shuxin (from And a City), Ms. Li Jiqiu (from Qiqihar City), Ms. Liu Bogang, Ms. Zhao Lizhuang, Ms. Xie Shuping, Ms. Liu Fenglian, Ms. Wang Lianbo, Ms. Wen Shuqin, Ms. Gao Xiaoxia, Ms. Li Weiling, Ms. Xu Guirong, Ms. Sha Xiulan, Ms. Zhao Yazhen, Ms. Zhuang Qingxue, and Ms. Cui Rong, who has been tortured and is losing her eyesight.

In mid-March 2006, at least 30 practitioners from the Zhalantun District of Hulunbeier City, Inner Mongolia, were arrested. Currently they are being detained at the Nantou Detention Center in the Zhalantun District, commonly known as the Nantou Jail.

Ms. Bai Yuzhi, a practitioner from Jingjing, Shijiazhuang City, is currently being jailed at Hebei Provincial Women's Jail. She has lost her eyesight and is very weak physically. She can hardly get through the day.

Since July 20, 1999, Ms. Bai Yuzhi has spent most of her time in jail and has been tortured in both a forced labor camp and the jail. In the short period if time out of detention, she was homeless and forced to wander around. She has been severely injured both physically and spiritually.

In the morning on April 14, 2006, the Secretary General of the Lingfeng Community Zeng Yuxia phoned Ms. Sun Li and deceived her to go to see Zeng Yuxia to fill out a form for Ms. Sun's daughter, who was attending the university. After a brief talk, Zeng walked Ms. Sun out of the office. Hardly had Ms. Sun Li left the premises when she was arrested by five policemen of the National Security Team at the entrance to Linghe Park.

Later a police officer Yu Xiaobo from the National Security Team and the Beita Public Security Bureau took the key they confiscated from Ms. Sun Li to search her home when there was no one at home. Her personal property was confiscated, including her computer, VCDs, a printer, tape-recorder, about 5,000 "yuan" in cash, a bank book with 5,000 yuan, and unemployment insurance of 3,000 yuan.

Ms. Lao Luan, around 70 years old, was arrested from home by two policemen in the morning on April 17, 2006. She was taken to the Huangqitun Police Substation of Jilin City, Jilin Province, and was tortured. At 10:00 p.m. on the same day, she was sent away for further persecution.

Mr. Song Naiwen and Mr. Liu Wuquan are still being jailed at the City Detention Center ever since they were reported to the police for giving out truth-clarifying materials in December 2005.

Mr. Gao Liangui is a retired army doctor. He spreads the truth of Dafa and validates Dafa when seeing his patients. But for the past few years, he has been detained four times and sentenced to forced labor.

On around March 27, 2006, people started to follow him. Several days later, he was arrested. The Fengtai District 610 Office and the Neighborhood Committee (610 Office) of the Space Research Institute transferred him to the Fengtai Detention Center after he went on a hunger strike to protest in the brainwashing center for five days. Mr. Gao's home was searched and a large amount of Dafa materials were confiscated.

On April 13, 2006, Ms. Lei Min from Team 10 of Yuancun, Babao Town, Songzi City, Hubei Province, and Ms. Liu Yu'e from Team 12, were "illegally arrested" by the Director of Village Security for clarifying the truth. Their homes were searched and Dafa books and some truth-clarification materials were confiscated. They have been jailed at the Songzi No. 1 Detention Center, where they are on a hunger strike.

Ms. Liu Yu'e has two children at home, and there no one to take care of them. They have no income.

At 5:00 a.m. on April 10, 2006, when Ms. Wang Jun was about to send her child to school, she was arrested by 12 police officers hiding close to her home. In the afternoon on the same day, she was sent to the Brainwashing Center at the Hubei Province Education Center in Wuhan City to be further persecuted.

Mr. Liu Yi, a practitioner from Beijing, was sentenced to two years forced labor. Now he is being tortured at the Beijing Forced Labor Camp Transfer Center.

Ms. Lan Yunxiang, Ms. Wei Jinhua, Ms. Wei Jinqin, Ms. Wang Jinling, Ms. Lan Junying, and Ms. Guo Shanlan were arrested at around 8 p.m. on April 13 by Section Chief Liu followed by eight policemen and also Lan Hongjun, Zhang Xuetong, and Zhang Xinli.

At around 6 a.m. on April 14, 2006, 12 policemen from the Dianzi Town Police Substation of Pingdu City, in two police vehicles, broke into Mr. Wang Xiguo's home, intending to arrest him. With his family's protection, Mr. Wang Xiguo escaped. At the same time, 11 practitioners, namely Mr. Sun Yanzeng, Mr. Sun Yanbin from Ximianliu Village, Ms. Cao Chengxia from Qiantuan, Mr. Song Xijian from Songjiazhuang, Ms. Chen Haimei from Chenjiatuan, Sun from Caodong Village, Sun from Caoxi Village, two other practitioners from Sui village, and Mr. Wang Jinxi from Xiaoshiqiao, who was released after paying the fine, were all arrested from their homes. Their Dafa books, Master's photos, exercises tapes, lecture tapes, audiotapes and VCDs were confiscated.

Xu Jinchang from Houwangzhuang Village is the policeman involved in arresting the practitioners.

Ms. Wang Xiubo and Ms. Su Dan are being illegally imprisoned in the Chaoyang District Detention Center of Beijing City. They started hunger strikes in March and kept yelling slogans to support Falun Gong in the corridors. They were persecuted seriously. Their present situation is unknown.

19. [Beijing] Practitioner Wang Li Was Secretly Transferred to Daxing Brainwashing Class for Persecution

Practitioner Wang Li was "illegally sentenced" to seven years and six months in jail for hanging banners by the side of Sihuan Road. Before this, Wang Li was arrested under the excuse of "monitoring residence" and sent to Daxing brainwashing center at the "Law Education Center" for persecution. In the class, Wang Li was not allowed to sleep for several days. The guards of the class even cruelly rode on Wang Li's body!

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Yan Lingxia, 59 years old, lived near Niu Road in the Xuanwu District of Beijing. On November 8, 2005, she was arrested at home. Currently, her situation is unknown.

Ms. Yan was a retiree from the Housing Management Bureau for Niu Road in the Xuanwu District. She was single and lived by herself.

21. [Jilin Province] Ms. Cao Yumin Was Sentenced to One Year in Jail and Ms. Cao Yujie to One Year of Forced Labor

On March 15, Ms. Cao Yumin, a teacher at the Affiliated Middle School of Jilin Province Metal and Machine Plant, and Ms. Cao Yujie, an employee of the plant, were arrested by the local policemen and agents from 610 Office. Ms. Cao Yumin was sentenced to one year in jail and Ms. Cal Yujie to one year in of forced labor camp. Their home was ransacked. A computer, two printers, and 40,000 yuan in cash were stolen. Their family members are not permitted to visit them.

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wu Qiuyan was reported while spreading truth-clarifying materials. On April 14, 2006, she was arrested by policemen from Tongda Police Station in the Nangang District of Harbin City.

Ms. Han Suhua, 54 years old, lived at Ganjingzi District. She was originally a secretary for the 523 Factory of Ganjingzi District, Dalian City. After practicing Falun Gong, many of her diseases disappeared. In August 2001, in order to clarify the truth for Falun Gong, Ms. Han went to Beijing. She was arrested by the policemen from Ganjingzi District Police Station and sentenced to two years in a labor camp. While she was imprisoned in Dalian Forced Labor Camp, guards, lead by Yuan Lingyue, seriously tortured her. The torture methods included, pouring boiling water on her feet so that the skin of her feet peeled down and the bones showed. Even today, her feet are still a black-purple color. By being tied her up with her arms and legs fully stretched out, she was paralyzed for half a year.

On April 12, 2006, Ms. Han was reported for practicing Falun Gong. The director, Yan Changzheng, for the Haimao Police Station of Ganjingzi District led policemen to abduct her and ransack her home.

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wang Qiaorui lived in the Sanyangchuan Area of the Maiji District, Tianshui City, Gansu Province. On the afternoon of March 16, 2006, while spreading truth-clarifying materials at Tianguang Factory of Qinzhou District, she was reported to the police. Policemen from the National Security Group of the Qinzhou District, including Zhang Baoyong and Yang Yonggu, arrested her. She is being held in the Qinzhou District Detention Center.

After the "Two National Conference,s" they were arrested by the policemen from Fangshan District Police Station. Currently, their whereabouts are unknown.

Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zhang Jieping, 56 years old, is a retiree from the Jialing Factory of the Shapingba District, Chongqing City. After leaving home at 2 p.m. on April 15, 2006, he has not come back yet. His wife looked for him but could not find him. A witness said that Mr. Zhang was seen clarifying the truth about Falun Gong at a construction site near the Yuanzu Bridge in the Jingko Area around 4 p.m. on April 15. Then several people came and yelled at him, "Old guy, come here, come here." When he heard the calls, he responded. Now he is missing. He could possibly have been arrested by the National Security Group.

In February, practitioner Mr. Wang Sanyun and Ms. Wang Chunxia, his wife, were arrested by policemen of Lushan County, Pingdingshan City, Henan Province.

Around 6 a.m. on April 14, 2006, policemen from the Dianzi Town Police Station illegally broke into the home of practitioner Ms. Wang Fengting. They arrested her and took away her Falun Gong books.

In March 2005, practitioner Zhu Zhongzheng was arrested while clarifying the truth on a bus. After that, he was illegally transferred to Shayang Labor Camp for persecution. Zhu Zhongzheng firmly believed in Falun Gong and refused to compromise with the evil guards. After his sentence was over and he had stayed back at home for only three days, he was arrested again by policemen and transferred to Wuhan City for further persecution.

On March 14, practitioner Mr. Zhang Yiming from Putuo District, Shanghai City was illegally arrested. Without any witness or evidence, he was sentenced to one year of forced labor.

Ms. Pan Zhenghui, more than 60 years old, is a retiree from the Echeng Steel Company of the Wuhan Steel Group. In July 2005, Ms. Pan was persecuted so relentlessly that she became homeless to avoid arrest. In the second half of March 2006 in Huangshi City, Hubei Province, police officers from the 610 Office of Ezhou City and Xishan Police Station of Ezhou City arrested her. After being imprisoned in the First Detention Center of Ezhou City for more than a month, she was transferred to the brainwashing center at Tangxun Lake, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, for further persecution.

On March 18, 2006 while attending a birthday celebration for Guan Yin (Avalokitesvara), practitioner Ms. Jiang Subi took the chance to clarify the truth to people. Unfortunately, she was arrested by the policemen from National Security Group and the Yingshan County Police Station. She was brutally beaten and body-searched. Her Falun Gong materials and cell phone were confiscated. Ms. Jiang Subi was secretly sentenced and sent to Nanmusi Forced Labor Camp for persecution.

Recently the 610 Office and Education Bureau of Leqing City spread so-called "anti-cult" flyers to all its students. Six points in the contents focus on attacking Falun Gong. The flyer has to be taken home and parents of students have to sign it.

On February 21, 2006, plainclothes police followed and arrested practitioner Mr. Zeng Qin, who was carrying Falun Gong materials. The policeman behaved in a manner similar to a gangster and forcibly body-searched this practitioner. Mr. Zeng was imprisoned at the Third Detention Center of Zhuhai City and persecuted.

On April 11, 2006, while spreading truth clarifying materials at the Wuhan Steel Company, practitioner Mr. Huang Renzhu from Gongren Village, Qingshan District, Wuhan City, was followed by two policemen. After he went back to work, the policemen "illegally arrested" him. Around 1 p.m., the police ransacked his home. The next day, his family members were told that he was sentenced to 15 days in detention center, which is illegal. Currently, he is in the Qingshan Detention Center. When his family members went to visit him, they found he had been tortured and was in poor condition after only three or four days of detention.

Mr. Huang started to practice Falun Gong in April 1996. In March 2000, he went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong and got arrested in Beijing. After that, he was sent to Badajia Police Station in the Qingshan District of Wuhan City and sentenced to 15 days in detention. However, when he was sent to the the Hannan District Detention Center, he was rejected. He was then sent to the farm of the First Steel Company of Hannan District, Wuhan City, so that his residence could be monitored. After he was released, he was fired by his employer and worked a part-time job.
