Two Senior Citizens Died as a Result of Persecution in Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province
(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Zhong Weizhen was born on April 26,
1943. She was a retiree of the 5727 Plant in Jiujing City, Jiangxi Province. She
began practicing Falun Dafa at the beginning of 1994. She also attended
Teacher's lecture series held in Zhengzhou in June 1994 and in Guangzhou in
December 1994. She suffered from pulmonary tuberculosis and many other illnesses
before she began practicing, and she was relieved of all of them after that.
Since July 20, 1999, she had been harassed and persecuted continuously by the
CCP (Chinese Communist Party). On May 26, 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal to
the higher authorities, and was brought back and detained for 15 days. Only two
days after her release, when she was back home, she was again detained for a
period 15 days. On the morning of November 15, she was arrested at home by the
Shili Police. In January 2001, she was taken to the Jiujiang Forced Labor Camp,
brutally persecuted and subjected to forced brainwashing. In March 2001 she was
released, but her family kept a tight watch over her and did not allow her to
contact other practitioners. She did not write a Solemn Declaration, and died on
August 17, 2002. Ms. Wu Guirong was born in 1936. She was a retiree of the
5727 Plant in Jiujing City, Jiangxi Province. She began practicing Falun Dafa in
1994 and had attended Teacher's lecture series held in Guangzhou. She suffered
from high blood pressure and many other illnesses, all of which disappeared soon
after she took up the practice. Her home was ransacked after the persecution
began on July 20, 1999. Due to the severe persecution, she suffered a relapse of
her illnesses and died on March 13, 2006.
