Dallas: Practitioners Celebrate Seventh World Falun Dafa Day (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioners in Dallas area celebrated the seventh World Falun Dafa Day near Chinatown in Richardson at 10 am on May 13, 2006.

Under bright sunshine stood eye-catching banners across the street from Chinatown: "World Falun Dafa Day" in golden words against a purple background, "Falun Dafa Is Good" against an orange background and English banners stating "Falun Dafa" and "World Falun Dafa Day." Nine colorful flags stating "Falun Dafa Is Good" were aligned in a row and looked very refreshing.

Under the banner saying "Greeting to Master," Falun Gong practitioners wish Master Happy Birthday and celebrate the fourteenth anniversary of Falun Dafa's public introduction.

In hot Texas sun in May, Mr. Shao, in his eighties, did Falun Gong exercises. He saw a photo report of Falun Gong in newspaper when he was in China in 1993, clipped it off and followed the pictures to do exercises. In 1995, he got a Falun Dafa book and realized it was a cultivation system instead of ordinary Qigong exercise. Under the influence of Atheism by the Chinese Communist Party, he almost gave up cultivation. When his celestial eye was open, he still doubted it. Master revealed more clear vision with his celestial eye and completely dispersed his doubt. He had huge health improvement. He used to have bad stomach disease. There used to be seven or eight bean-sized tumors on his stomach, which would kill him eventually according to his doctor. He also had bad problem with his back, which made him painful all over. All these diseases were gone after practicing Falun Gong.

Practitioner Rich started practicing Falun Gong a year and an half ago. He came to the celebration in a self-made T-shirt stating "Falun Gong Is Good." He wished more people would see the benefit of Falun Dafa and know more about Falun Dafa through the celebration.
