Taitung, Taiwan: Practitioners Celebrating World Falun Dafa Day (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) May 13 is World Falun Dafa Day and the birthday of the founder of Falun Dafa, Mr. Li Hongzhi. Practitioners from the Taitung area gathered to celebrate Master Li's birthday and the 14th anniversary of Falun Dafa's public introduction.

Practitioners offered their congratulations on revered Master's birthday, and extended their appreciation to Master for granting their physical and mental well-being from the harmonious practice of Falun Gong. Practitioners demonstrated the exercises. The Tang Dynasty drum team performed "Falun Dafa is Good" and other pieces, and the vigorous drumbeat drew people's attention.

Practitioner Ms. Chen, who is in her 60s, said that she used to have a hunchback and had difficulty walking, sitting and even sleeping. In the beginning of doing the sitting meditation, she could not sit on the ground, but could only sit on a little chair. After practicing Falun Gong for six months, she could sit on the ground. A while after that, she could do the exercises like others, and her hunchback straightened out. Now she's able to take part in the drum team and perform in different places. She said that she should thank Master's compassion for all of these amazing things.

A few young practitioners also offered their congratulations on Master's birthday. Aboriginal practitioners put on their traditional outfits and led everybody in a dance to express their feelings towards World Falun Dafa Day. Some passersby read the truth-clarifying materials, while others happily held the paper-folded golden lotus flowers. Practitioners ended the gathering with a choir of songs composed by practitioners.

On this special occasion, practitioners from the Taitung Area displayed the beauty of Falun Dafa with the exercises and the drum performance, praised the miracle of Falun Dafa with their songs, and expressed their appreciation to Master's compassionate salvation with their sincerest hearts.
