Canada: French Newspaper le Journal De Montreal Reports Celebration of Falun Dafa Day (Photos)


(Clearwisdom.net) On May 14, 2006, French newspaper le Journal De Montreal carried a photo report covering Falun Gong practitioners' celebration of World Falun Dafa Day in Montreal.

The report stated that Falun Gong practitioners in Montreal yesterday (May 13) gathered in Chinatown and celebrated the fourteenth anniversary of Falun Dafa's public introduction by Master Li on May 13, 1992. Falun Dafa is based on three principles: Truth, Compassion, Tolerance. Falun Gong has five sets of meditation and movement exercises.

The report stated that one hundred million people practice Falun Gong. Though the practitioners in China are being persecuted, in Montreal, the number of practitioners keeps increasing, which can be seen from the photos we took in Chinatown.
