Australia: Falun Gong Practitioners from Queensland Celebrate World Falun Dafa Day (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) It was sunny on May 13, 2006, World Falun Dafa Day. Falun Gong practitioners from Queensland celebrated it in Chinatown in Brisbane.

Practitioners decorated the tower in Chinatown with colorful Falun Dafa banners, the big model of Zhuan Falun, beautiful paper lotus flowers and colorful bands. The atmosphere was peaceful and happy. The performance started with the vigorous waist drum playing to the music of "Falun Dafa is good."

After a greeting from the Falun Dafa association of Queensland, practitioners sang a song to Master--"Appreciation of Master." Practitioners also cut the birthday cake.

A series of fabulous performances followed next. Practitioners demonstrated the exercises, shared cultivation experiences, danced, sang, played instruments and recited Master's poems. Many people enjoyed the performance and applauded practitioners. Moreover, practitioners who are talented in calligraphy gave the spectators the art work of calligraphy. Many westerners lined up, waiting for practitioners to write their names in Chinese.

Before the end of the celebration, practitioners sang the song "Coming for You" together, hoping that people will learn the truth about Falun Dafa as soon as possible and remember that Falun Dafa is good.

The next day, practitioners will hold another celebration activity at Sunshine Coast in Queensland to bring hope to the local people.
