Falun Gong Practitioner Wang Shusheng Severely Persecuted at Shenyang Prison, Family Denied Contact

Dafa practitioner Wang Shusheng from Liaoning Province is being held at Division 17 of the Shenyang No. 1 Prison. In February 2006, after the guards and inmates beat Mr. Wang, his hearing in both ears declined drastically and his left wrist was broken from the beating. In early April 2006, Wang Shusheng was again tortured and secretly held and abused in a solitary confinement cell of that prison. Faced with groundless persecution, Wang Shusheng went on a hunger strike on April 7. He was force-fed on April 10. His family has made strong requests to meet with him, but the prison authorities have denied their request.
