of Armstrong proclaimed May 2006 as "Falun Dafa Month Honoring
Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" in the City of Armstrong, British
Columbia, Canada, and extended warm greetings and congratulations to all
attendees of the 2006 Canada Experience Sharing Conference.

Falun Dafa Month
Honoring Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance
Whereas Falun Dafa is an advanced exercise and meditation practice of
mind, body and spirit based on the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion
and Forbearance"; and
Whereas Since its public introduction in 1992 by Mr. Li Hongzhi, Falun
Dafa has brought health and peace of mind to over 100 million people on six
continents; and
Whereas More men and women of Canada are learning the practice and
purifying their hearts, energizing their bodies, and embracing peaceful,
virtuous communities; and
Whereas Falun Dafa emphasizes a holistic approach to health that includes
the cultivation of one's moral character by following the universe's benevolent
characteristics of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, as well as practicing
gentle qigong exercises; and
Whereas Falun Dafa practitioners in communities across Canada will
celebrate Falun Dafa Month with parades and free public traditional Chinese
dancing and singing performances; and
Whereas Hundreds and thousands of Falun Dafa practitioners will
participate in the Canada Experience Sharing Conference to be held in Toronto
this May; and
Now therefore I, Jerry Oglow, Mayor of the City of Armstrong, do hereby
proclaim May 2006 as
"Falun Dafa Month Honoring
Truth-Compassion-Forbearance"
In the City of Armstrong, and extend our warm greetings and congratulations
