(Clearwisdom.net) During the last ten days of February 2006, all the
steadfast Falun Dafa practitioners illegally detained in the Masanjia Forced
Labor Camp were persecuted insanely for refusing to be "transformed." They were
forced to wear the prison uniform, sit in a chair and call out numbers. They
were abused with physical punishment, handcuffs, beating and scolding by the
chief of the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, Zhang Mingqiang, Deputy Chief Wang Wei,
Chief of the Administration Section Ma Jishan, superintendent of the Second
Women's Section of Masanjia (so-called the "Mental Education School"), Su Jing,
Commissar Wang Naimin, Chief of the First Team Li Mingyu, Deputy Chief Xie
Chengdong and Li Mingyu's husband Liu Yong, who is also the chief of the
security section at Masanjia. Every Dafa disciple persecuted was forced by
three, four or more policemen to wear a uniform, and was beaten if he or she
would not cooperate.
Dafa disciples Sun Suxiang, Yuan Shuzhe, Yang Baoying and Qiu Li were all
beaten. Sun Suxiang, Qiu Li, Huang Sumei, Liu Guiyuan and Zhang Jingyan were
each confined to a small compartment. In order to protest the persecution, Qiu
Li and Liu Guiyuan went on a hunger strike. On March 22, 2006, Qiu Li, Liu
Guiyuan and Huang Sumei were brought back from the small compartments and
detained in spare rooms in the First Team separately. Other practitioners who
were detained in the spare rooms include Zhou Hua, Meng Guiqiu, Yuan Shuzhe, Xie
Xinying and others. They all went on a hunger strike to resist the persecution.
The guards shackled the Dafa disciples with handcuffs and forced them to squat
nearly every day from 6:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sometimes their arms were stretched
to the maximum point and shackled to bed rails until they were numb and swollen;
some people's hands were paralyzed from this torture.
Qiu Li, Liu Guiyuan, Huang Sumei, Meng Guiqiu and Zhou Hua were not allowed to
wash, rinse their mouths or change their underwear for more than one month. They
wore handcuffs every day, and both hands were even cuffed to the bed railings
during the night. On April 10, the practitioners were transferred to the third
group of the First Team in the First Women's Section of Masanjia Forced Labor
Camp. Because they refused to wear the prison uniforms, they were beaten many
times by criminal inmate Wang Liying and others, and a large amount their hair
was pulled out. At that time, the team leader, Sun Mei was present, but she
turned her back on the abuse.
Ms. Qiu Li is still on a hunger strike to resist the persecution. She was given
forced infusions every day. The "cost" of the infusion is charged at a rate of
20 yuan for one bottle each time. The practitioners were also force-fed corn
porridge, salt, one egg and a little sugar, and the cost was also as high as 20
yuan. Other Dafa disciples who also went on a hunger strike to protest include
Jiang Chunxia from Dalian. Currently, Jiang Chunxia cannot walk, Qiu Li staggers
when walking, and both practitioners are emaciated.
Other Dafa disciples who are also detained illegally in Masanjia include Wang
Xiuyan from Benxi, Qu Shumei from Dalian and Xin Shuhua.
