Tortures Employed at Prisons in Jiamusi City and Harbin City: Pegs in the Fingers; Stabbed with Needles and Thrown into Ditches

Gross abuses under the persecution at the Harbin Women's Prison in 2003, 2004 and 2005

Since March 8, the lawless officials at the Group Drill Division at the Harbin Women's Prison handcuffed Dafa practitioner Tao Hongmei to a heating pipe in an office. Lu Jinghua, a division head, tortured Dafa practitioners Wang Mingyan and others for six months by handcuffing their arms behind their backs since September 2003. Between 2004 and 2005, Dafa practitioners Jiang Yuhui, Feng Guojun, Li Zhenying and Liu Hui were beaten, and practitioner Liu Hui was beaten by Tao Dandan. Dafa practitioner Chang Xueju was tortured for two months after March 10, 2004. She was physically abused and assaulted. During the day, guard Sun Haixin slapped her more than 20 times until her face swelled up and she bled from her mouth. The guards then ordered inmates to force Wang Haixia to squat. Dafa practitioner Yan Jinbo has been severely persecuted since 2005 and was forced to renounce her belief in Falun Dafa.

When practitioners protested the persecution by refusing to work, guards at the Jiamusi Men's Prison tied them up and threw them into ditches in the rice fields.

In 2004, male guards at Jiamusi Women's Labor Camp struck Dafa practitioners who refused to give up their belief with rubber-covered metal sticks and shocked the practitioners with electric batons. They knocked out two of practitioner Li Guiqin's front teeth, and her blood was all over the floor. Four or five practitioners lost consciousness from the brutal beating, and the perpetrators stabbed them with needles. Liu Yuekun and guard Mu Zhenjuan were the main perpetrators of this persecution.

Torture of Dafa practitioners at the Hegang Men's Labor Camp

In 2001, persecutors at the Hegang Men's Labor Camp tortured Dafa practitioners by hammering toothpicks underneath the practitioners' nail beds and striking the fingernails with hammers. After each strike with the hammer, they would ask the practitioner if he agrees to write a statement renouncing Dafa. If the practitioner refused, the hammering would continue until all ten fingers were crushed.

In 2002, several Dafa practitioners did the Falun Gong exercises at the No. 2 Detention Center of Hegang City. Each of the more than 50 practitioners had their legs forced apart by a 4-ft. steel bar while being forced to lie on the concrete ground. They were forbidden to sleep for one month.
